Dawson has a long and athletic build at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.50 seconds with a top exit velo of 89 MPH. The projectable left-handed hitter has an athletic stance with some bend to the knees. Smooth weight transfer, real comfortable in the box. Back elbow stays parallel to the ground. Strong, efficient lower half. Line drives to all fields, gap-to-gap power potential. In the infield, Dawson showed advanced lateral actions, multislot ability. Top positional velo of 82 MPH.
Dawson has a lanky and athletic build at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.52 seconds while recording a top exit velocity of 87 MPH. The left-hand hitter starts wide and athletic, some bend in the knees. Hands are low and have slight movement directly backwards in his load. Smooth weight transfer, is able to explode off his back hip. On plane early, showed glimpses of some gap-to-gap pop. Real comfortable in the box. In the infield, displayed smooth actions with sound footwork around the ball. Twitchy actions. Top infield positional velocity of 83 MPH. On the mound, pitched from a modified stretch position. Works quick with tempo, athletic actions. Higher leg kick, moves his hands in sync with his lower half. Long, loose arm action. Higher slot, higher 3/4 but nearly OTT. FB with some life at 79-80 MPH. CB with bigger 11/5 shape 64-65 MPH. CH with solid action, depth and run at 69-70 MPH.
