Lehigh recruit. Stamford has broad shouldered build at 6-foot-4 200-pounds. Fastball topped at 84 and sat mostly 82-84 throughout his outing of work at the event. Flashed advanced command of a true 12/6 breaking ball at 68-70 with tight spin and fastball arm action from a 3/4 slot. Swing-and-miss breaking ball makes him tough to hit. Changeup had armside fade at 76-77 for strikes. Tall balance point into a smooth descent down the mound with uphill shoulder at first landing. Longer arm action. Firm leg on landing and release and stays balanced throughout finish.

Stamford is tall with broad shoulders at 6-foot-4 190-pounds. Sat 80-82 mph touching 83 mph with a sharp 12/6 breaking ball at 68-70 mph. ¾ arm slot, swing and miss breaking ball. Very tight spin, fastball hand speed. Threw 4 innings, surrendered one hit and one walk, struck out 10 on 59 pitches. One of the top NJ prospects of the day.
