Westcott has a strong and athletic build at 6-foot, 170-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.80 seconds with a top exit velocity recorded at 92 MPH. Starts tall and open at the plate. Uses a big, hanging stride to put him into a wider and more athletic stance at footstrike. Moves the hands directly backwards in his load, works to get on plane early. Creates extension through the zone. Impressive round with a lot of loud contact to the pullside. In the outfield, controlled to the ball, fields with both hands. Strong throws, topping at 82 MPH. On the mound, the left-hander starts tall towards the third base side of the rubber. Slow and gradual delivery, creates deception with a late hand-break. Uses the lower half efficiently while getting over his brace leg. Longer arm action with later whippiness. FB was thrown for strikes at 78-80 MPH. CB was big and had some downer tilt when at the bottom of the zone, was 66-68 MPH. CH with some occasional run at 72-74 MPH.
