Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 87 MPH, while sitting 84-87 MPH; life through the zone with arm side run. SL: 77-79 MPH; plus pitch; can land for strikes and expand for swing and miss. CH: 80 MPH; fading action.
Physical: 5-foot-11, 190 pounds; Athletic, broad shouldered build. 7.12 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a high finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while showing active feet. Hands work through the ball with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 91 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 85 MPH, while sitting 83-85 MPH; . SL: 73-76 MPH. CH: 77-78 MPH.
Physical: Compact, athletic 5-foot-11, 155lb frame with room to add strength. 7.35 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, even stance as the hands showed quick rhythm by the head to start. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone, working into a stiff front side. Posted a strong 42% line drive rate with ability to match pitch-plane out of the hand; really stayed on top of pitches above the belt, depositing barrels from gap to gap with a good feel for the strike zone. Notched a T87 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded a 246 foot batted ball distance suggesting singles power at the moment; more juice coming.
Defensively: The outfielder featured adequate footwork, arriving on time with the chest over toes; average pace and a smooth transition in/out of the glove releasing from a quicker, separated H slot (71 mph arm strength).
Pitching: RHP - The righty started off the far left side of the rubber with a repeatable operation; got to a balanced stack and worked directional into footsrike using athletic movements down the slope. Released from a H slot and landed strikes at 81-83 mph on the FB (2000+ rpms). Mixed a short, tight 73-76 mph SL that was commanded at a 78% zone rate via Trackman, able to keep hitters deceptively in between speeds. Then added a developing 74-76 mph CH with killed spin.
