Physical- Lean, athletic, 5-foot-11, 170lbs build. 6.97 runner in the 60.
Offensively- The LHH uses a crouched stance with a wide base and bend in the knees. Has some bat waggle pre-pitch and gets into the swing with a quick leg kick. He transfers his weight to the front side during the swing aggressively with the back foot coming disconnected from the ground. Blocks energy transfer well with a firm front leg. Bat stays flat through the zone with solid extension and an uphill finish. Max exit velo of 91 MPH per Trackman.
Defensively- Starts upright and aggressively approaches the ball out in front of him. Gains downhill momentum and fields the ball outside his glove foot and in one motion gets the ball out and to his target. Uses a quick, fluid arm stroke with an over the top slot. 82 MPH arm from the OF with good carry on his throws.
