2017 New Jersey State Games (July 26-27, 2017)
Burychka has a strong, broad shouldered frame at 6-foot-2 210-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.13-seconds; exit velocity topped at 92 MPH. Offensively – starts in a wide, crouched stance with hands just above back shoulder. Uses a leg lift and stride to start swing. Hands load back and down with some fluidity. Creates gap-to-gap power with quick hands and extension in arms. Finishes balanced with some lift to swing. Defensively – took reps at 1B. Throws across the infield topped at 76 MPH with some armside run. Sound footwork on double play feeds, able to replace feet and play through throws with accuracy on the bag. Short, quick arm action.


Futures Preview South (June 4th, 2017)
Burychka has a strong, sturdy build at 6-foot-2 210-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.43 seconds, and recorded an exit velocity of 96 MPH, which was one of the highest recordings from the event. At the plate, Burychka starts in a wide, neutral stance with weight on back side. Hands are placed just above back shoulder. As pitch comes in, uses a foot stride to initate load sequence. Hands load down slightly. Hips show some looseness through the zone. Finishes with some lift to his swing. Defensively, took reps at first base. Throws across the infield topped at 77 MPH. Shows sound footwork on double play feeds, exchange is quick and seamless. Throws across the infield had some armside run. Throws from a lower 3/4 slot.
