2019 Preseason All State showcase
Francisco stands at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Has a real wiry and athletic frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds and recorded an exit velo of 82 MPH. At the plate, starts tall with his feet open and narrow. Normal leg kick. Hands do not move much during his load. Explosive lower half. Quick hands, reacts well, has ability to hit the ball to all fields. Took defensive reps in the infield and recorded a velo of 81 MPH. Fields the ball out in front and makes his transfer high and away from his body. Moved well laterally to make plays. On the mound, starts with his feet close and on the left side of the rubber. Long, loose arm action. High leg kick, gets into his backside early. Feet are slightly closed when he hits his stride. FB showed some run and was consistently at the bottom of the zone at 81-83 MPH, touching 85 MPH. CB was at 69-71 MPH, showed 12/6 shape with a tendency to back up on him. CH displayed some late fade at 74-75 MPH.
