Uncommitted 6-foot 185. Cascardo has a medium to large frame with strength in his lower half. Speed is not on his side, but his bat will carry him. He displayed a tight range of exit velocity, culminating in a personal best 87 MPH off the tee. He made consistent hard contact during two rounds of batting practice with signs of pull side power. Cascardo displayed instincts for the first base position in his footwork and picks skills. He showed a feel for touch throws on first base coverages and double play feeds with developing arm strength. Continued arm strength will prove valuable in starting double plays and cuts/relays. He showed solid in-game playability that will benefit from continued changes brought on by natural maturation as well as strength and conditioning training.
