Fall '18 - CA State East Bay commit. 5-foot-6, 145 pound small frame.  Garrett will be able to add weight and strength. He possesses quick twitch and is an above average runner 4.21 down the line on a ground ball to short.  He is a stolen base threat.  A gritty and heady player defensively, his high energy approach to the game is steadfast.  His infield actions are good and he threw well on the run and after diving plays.  D’Amico’s defensive decision making was impeccable. He has serviceable arm strength at 3B with solid carry but profiles better at 2B.  A potential top of the order bat, he maintains an aggressive approach at the plate with busy high hands and a significant leg kick.  He has a manageable length to his swing, capable of using all fields and will employ the short game.  He displayed some sneaky power, hitting a homerun to LCF.  He will adjust with 2ks and his barrel awareness and mentality make him a tough out
