Body: 6-foot-1, 215 pounds
Delivery
: Quick pace delivery. Drop and drive type. Some effort, but maintains control throughout. Works down the mound well. Lands on line with balanced finish over his front side.
Arm Action: RH. High ¾ slot. Quick, repeated arm action.
FB: 82-84 mph. Up to 84.84 mph. Commands it well. Some downhill action.
CB: 71-74 mph. 12/6 shape with some late bite. Works well off his fastball.
CH: 75-76 mph. Comes out with a similar visual as FB. Lives down in the zone.

5/19/19

Developed, 6-foot 190, Stevenson is well-built with present strength and durability for the position.  With work and development, he looks to be a capable receiver. He maintains plenty of arm strength for the position and has a true throw from a high ¾ slot. He posted solid pop times with room to improve in his exchange to release. At the plate, he sets strong with high hands in a mostly pull side approach.  His naturally lofted swing has a high, power type finish with solid strength in his barrel. He made consistent loud contact. Stevenson’s present strength and tools cold lend to an everyday backstop and middle of the order type bat.

Stevenson is a right-hander that throws from a high ¾ slot with a short tight arm circle. His fastball topped out at 80, with a breaking ball 67-69 and changeup at 75. Stevenson has a solid feel for the strike zone with good pitch definition and size, strength, and arm action will likely profile as a reliever down the road if he continues to pitch.
