Fall '18 - Physical, 6-foot-2, 180. Rice has an athletic build with developed strength. His frame will hold additional weight. Rice has a chance to be a legit two-way performer for someone with a good arm and solid zone feel. At 86-88 in the bullpen, easy to see the velocity playing up in a game situation. An upright short strider with short arm swing there is some effort in the delivery. He pounded the strike zone with both his fastball and a slurvy breaking ball. All things considered, may lend more to relief role. At the plate, the ball jumps off his bat. With a crude athleticism to his swing, a strong combination of strength and bat speed lend to present as well as projectable power.
