8/1/8 - Six-foot-3, 180-pounds, long, lean, strong frame with a high waist and long limbs. Squared shoulders with strength down through to the wrists. Large feet. Despite his size, Guidara does an excellent job of playing low to the ground while showing quick feet and fluid footwork. Backhand is strong while he plays through the ball on forehands and ball to him. Plays on balls of his feet. Shows glove early and has soft hands with quick, clean exchanges and release. Has a bit of a recoil action on his throws. At the plate he has an open stance and uses a leg lift trigger to initiate his swing. Uses lower half very well and shows some strength and explosiveness at contact. Pull hitter with the ability to spray balls the other way.
