Fall '18 - Strong, 5-foot-7, 170, Dirk has a compact frame with present strength, stocky with a well-developed lower half. He is a corner outfield type player at the next level with playable arm strength. He takes good routes and employs proper footwork with a reverse pivot when ranging to the line.  At the plate, he sets with hands at his shoulder and a flat bat followed by a raising of the bat, cocking of his hands and tipping of the barrel toward the pitcher.  This leading to a swing that is aggressive above his stature. He made consistent contact using the whole field, displaying sneaky pull-side power.  Although not a “burner”, he ran the bases intelligently and aggressively.
