Physical: 5-foot-11, 160 pounds; Long, slender build. 7.58 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Lifts hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying in an elevated position. Hands are firm while standing up during transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.28-2.41 pop times. C - 73 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; low 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 74 MPH, while sitting 70-73 MPH; straight action.
Physical: Taller, projectable 5-foot-11, 160lb frame. 7.88 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, upright stance, as the barrel bounces off the shoulder. Utilized a short toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a flat path, short to long into the hitting zone. Delivered the barrel out to the front of the plate, pull-side approach, and recorded a T82 mph bat-exit velocity at 276 feet. Strength will continue coming.
Defensively: The backstop featured adequate actions behind the plate. Soft glove hand while receiving (traditional stance) and added 2.39-2.49 pop times with an accurate 67 mph arm out of a ¾ slot. Then slid over to the OF with some downhill pace and repeated throws to the right side of the target.
