5-foot-11 150 pound RHP/2B. Offensively- Alternated between a narrow, slightly open setup and a spread/even stance during batting practice. Works hands back for timing with end result of stride keeping him even. Balanced at contact with some up hill plane to and through the ball. Barrell contact with a mix of line drives and flyballs through the middle of the field. Exit velocity peaked at 75 MPH. Defensively- Listed as a 2B but could also project at 3B as he matures. Stays on the balls of his feet with hands staying soft out in front. Clean transfer and accurate arm at 69 MPH. With some improvements with agility and arm strength his versatility on the infield will grow. Pitching- Sets up glove side of the rubber with a small side step working up to a mid-chest balance point. Arm action is infield like working through a traditional 3/4 slot. Works downhill over a firm front side. Fastball sits 68-71 MPH with down action CB at 55-60 and change up at 60-64 MPH.

Zielinski stands in at 5-foot-11, 150-pounds with a lean frame. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with his feet wide outside shoulder width. Shows a slight knee bend with an upright torso holding the bat in front of the back shoulder using little pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch, his trigger is a quick knee raise in towards the back leg to stride forward while his hands move back into the hitting position. Utilizes good lower body rotation getting his whole-body frame involved in the process of the swing. Shows quick hands into the hitting zone with a level barrel path throughout into a high two-handed finish. Demonstrated line drive ability up the middle and to the pull side during batting practice round. Showed a clean, fluid swing making solid contact. Recorded an exit velocity of 74 MPH. Defensively- Good approach and footwork to the baseball. Smooth fielding mechanics with a quick funnel and transition into the throwing position. Has aggressive footwork towards target and moves well left/right and in on the run. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 62 MPH. Pitching- Righty sets up square on the rubber with a simple side step into a high leg kick above hip crease. Breaks down well into a good separation getting into a good throwing position when foot strike occurs. Shows a mid-¾ release point. Could be more aggressive with the follow through to finish better and get in better fielding position. Fastball showed cut action and sat 68-69 MPH and peaked at 69 MPH. Curveball showed effective 12/6 breaking action that could be spot well for a strike. Will improved with added development and strength.
