Physical: Proportional, athletic 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame. 7.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, grounded stance, just outside shoulder-width. Utilized a controlled leg-kick stride to initiate his swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone. Stayed on-plane extremely well for a pull-side approach and T85MPH EV, up to 312FT. Connected behind the ball with strong wrists/core.
Defensively: Primary 3B featured developing movements at the hot corner. Let it travel with choppy footwork and a soft glove-hand that played low. Funneled inward and reached back for an 81MPH INF arm (H ¾). Chance to handle some OF too.
Pitching: RHP. Pitched into the lower-80’s with a drop/drive delivery. Quality tempo using short arm-action and life through the zone at 79-81MPH. Mixed a swing/miss 70-72MPH CB for Ks. Deployed both evenly 50/50.
Physical: 5-10, 175 pounds; Muscular, proportional build. 7.71 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman. Consistent pull side power to the gap.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while playing low to the ground. Hands are out in front with a delay in transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 81 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Short take back while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 77-80 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 70-72 MPH; late action. CH: 74-76 MPH; maintains same plain. CB showed A/AVG spin rate with command of all three pitches.
