Biben stands in at 5-foot-11, 220-pounds with a strong and thick athletic frame. Ran a 8.84 – 60. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with his feet wide outside his shoulders. Knees are bent slightly with his torso leaning out towards home plate and his hands held in front of his back shoulder using pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch his trigger is a toe tap forward while his hands move back slightly into his hitting position. Has quick hands into the hitting zone with good upward lift barrel action throughout into a high one handed finish. Good lower body rotation getting whole body frame into swing clearing his hips. Demonstrated good plate coverage, balance and line drive ability up the middle and pull side during his batting practice rounds. Recorded an impressive exit velocity of 93 MPH. Defensively- Exchanges foowork tight to the plate on his throw; could gain more ground towards 2B. Stays low and has a clean transition from the glove to the throwing position. Demonstrated accurate throws down to second on the right side of second base. Will improve with quicker footwork and added strength as he continues to develop. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 72 MPH. Definite power threat ability at the plate with a solid skill set behind the plate that will only get better.
