Physical: Muscular, athletic 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame. 7.66 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, upright stance, as the barrel worked taller to start. Utilized a direct lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing through a connected, flat path into the hitting zone. Natural feel to turn it, landing on the sweet spot often for a T93MPH EV. Able to extend towards a one-handed finish; mostly fly ball approach to the LCF gap.
Defensively: Primary C featured a traditional setup with some efficient pocket awareness. Pop times ranged between 1.87-1.89 out of a H ¾ slot (80MPH arm). Moved the hips around the ball on blocks, saving free 90’s. More to come.
Physical: 6-foot-1, 180 pounds; Lean, muscular build. 7.69 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman. Displayed a highly repeatable, direct swing path. Averaged a bat speed of 70.6mph via blast motion.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; while staying in an elevated position. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.0-2.1 pop times. C - 83 MPH. INF - 79 MPH. Smooth, easy transfers with elite catcher velocity. Plus blocking and poise behind the plate.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a long stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while wrist hooks behind back; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 86 MPH, while sitting 83-86 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 72-73 MPH; showed depth. CH: 76-78 MPH; runs. Curveball was his best pitch, showing depth and above average spin with the ability to spot it.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 178 pounds; Athletic, Sturdy build. 7.94 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands along with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a short swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.10-2.20 pop times. C - 73 MPH.
