Physical: Physical, athletic 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame exuding strength in all actions on the diamond. 7.67 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Started from a crouched, even stance deep into the legs as the hands showed rhythm flat above the shoulder. Utilized a toe tap stride allowing for good stretch upon land; initiated through a flat path with lift at impact. Stayed behind the ball well generating impressive leverage at the plate (60% fly ball rate) while accruing a near 330 foot peak batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball. Notched a top bat-exit velocity of 92 mph (85 mph average) with an impact power ceiling down the road (20.8 G’s of rotational acceleration).
Defensively: The primary third baseman flashed loose, easy actions at the hot corner, moving very well to his left, glove hand side. Played in rhythm allowing a low-effort, whippy 78 mph arm strength to coast across the diamond towards the target.
Physical: 5-foot-9, 160-pounds. Lean, athletic frame.
Run: 7.73 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Crouched stance with bent knees, wide base, hands start high at ear level, uses bat waggle and toe tap for timing Direct barrel path working on a slightly uphill plane with some loft in his swing, hands clear zone quickly.
Power: 84 MPH raw exit velocity. Launch angle approach, fly balls to pull side.
Defense: INF: Starts upright and gets low with the ball, fields the ball slightly off-center on his back foot, shuffles to release, OF: Smooth footwork, fields ball in front of glove foot, shuffles to release.
Arm: INF: Short arm swing with a 3/4 slot OF: Medium arm swing; high 3/4 slot. INF - 79 MPH. OF - 78 MPH.
Proportional build for the 5-foot-9 160 pound right-handed hitting 3B. Offensively- Sets up with a spread, open stance in the box with an upright bat angle. Slight movements for timing as hands work back and stride works back to even. Swing path covers the zone with some lift to the opposite field due to barrel lag; repeats actions with balance. Raw exit velocity of 83 MPH indicates a strong foundation to build off of. Defensively- Upright setup; hands play slightly in front of the body. Did show a quick exchange at times with a shorter arm path. Working lower to the ground start to finish and attacking the ball at third base will help to keep momentum through the ball and into his throws. Plenty of time for arm strength to develop to keep him on the left side of the field.
