The 2025 Jr. NYS Games will mark our 8th year of the event and will take place July 1, 2025 in Cortland, NY - at the Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex..  The Jr. NYS Games also serves as the qualifier for "TEAM NY" for the 2025 Junior Future Games in Georgia in late July. (2029-2030 graduates).

Jr. NYS GAMES Schedule

July 1

- 9 AM Team Workouts will begin. Check-in is 45 minutes before your team's defensive workout. Hitting will happen immediately after defense.

Hitting: Field 1

- Team 1 & 2 -
Check in: 8:15am / 60 & Defense 9am / Hitting 9:45am - Finish HT/WT, Grip Strength & Vertical jumps in the 3B Dugout of Field 1.

- Team 3 & 4 -
Check in: 9am / 60 & Defense 9:45am / Hitting 10:30am - Finish HT/WT, Grip Strength & Vertical jumps in the 3B Dugout of Field 1.

- Team 5 & 6 -
Check in: 9:45am / 60 & Defense 10:30am / Hitting 11:15am - Finish HT/WT, Grip Strength & Vertical jumps in the 3B Dugout of Field 1.

- Team 7 & 8 -
Check in: 10:15am / 60 & Defense 11am / Hitting 12pm - Finish HT/WT, Grip Strength & Vertical jumps in the 3B Dugout of Field 1.

Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex

NOTE: Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex is a fully turfed facility. Rubber molded or turf shoes only (NO METAL CLEATS). 

GAME FORMAT & RULES


+ Simulated Games (4 batter innings)
+ Pitcher Only will throw (2-3 innings)
+ Dual Pitcher will throw (1-2 innings - depending on inning needs)
+ There will always be ONE out (promotes double plays, stolen bases, tagging up, 1st to 3B on a hit)
+ Game play will feature a 1-1 count to start an at bat.
+ If a batter walks the count will then go back to a 2-1 count and the pitcher must throw fastballs, a 2nd walk results in batter taking 1st.
+ HBP counts as a ball, second HBP = take your base.
