2025 Senior Future Games Quick Hitters: Team Carolinas - SC Pitchers
July 28, 2025
From Tuesday, July 22, through Sunday, July 27, Prep Baseball is hosting the next edition of its prestigious Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Ga., featuring the country's best uncommitted talent. And, for the first time ever, the Future Games is hosting not just its typical set of incoming juniors and freshmen, but also a 17U division of uncommitted Class of 2026 players who will participate in the second Senior Future Games.
On the first day of the 2025 Future Games, all players representing grad classes 2026, 2027, and 2029 will be participating in a pro-style workout in front of a fleet of Division I coaches alongside fellow prospects representing nearly every state in the nation.
Inside this piece, we'll be breaking down the top statistical 17U performers from Tuesdays workout, using the data we collected from the athletic tests we conducted and the state-of-the-art technology that was on-site capturing batted-ball measurements and swing metrics.

Parker Reavis RHP / 2B / Carolina Forest, SC / 2026Rankings StateRank: 52 / POS: 17
Big-time outing from this athletic right-hander, who impressed with a mature, composed presence and outstanding command of a three-pitch mix. Over two dominant innings, he kept hitters off balance with sequencing, feel, and the ability to land any pitch in any count. The fastball sat 88–90 mph with sneaky life, jumping on hitters late and showing some carry through the zone. He featured a slider at 74–79 mph with solid depth and tilt, used effectively both as a chase pitch and for early-count strikes. However, his most impressive weapon may have been his changeup at 80–81 mph, which came out of the same window as the fastball but with heavy fade and minimal spin (824 rpm), making it exceptionally deceptive and nearly unhittable. It’s a true plus pitch that generated weak contact and uncomfortable swings throughout the outing. With a clean, athletic delivery and the ability to command three quality offerings, he projects as a high-ceiling arm who can compete at the next level immediately. |

Will Fulcher RHP / SS / Southside Christian, SC / 2026Rankings StateRank: 23 / POS: 5
Well-acquainted with the mounds at LakePoint, Will took the ball with confidence and immediately set the tone, attacking hitters with a compact, explosive two-pitch mix. He operates with a short, quick, and athletic arm action that creates deception and allows him to repeat his delivery effectively. The fastball sat comfortably at 87-90 mph with late life, showing the ability to get on hitters quickly and generate swings and misses up in the zone. Complementing the fastball is a tight, late-breaking slider at 77-80 mph, which he tunneled well off his fastball. The pitch showed sharp, late depth, making it a true swing-and-miss offering, particularly effective against right-handed hitters. Will demonstrated the ability to land both pitches for strikes or expand when ahead, showcasing pitchability and presence. His athletic delivery and ability to command both offerings make him a compelling follow, especially in short-stint outings. |

Parker Davis LHP / OF / Fountain Inn High, SC / 2026Rankings StateRank: 31 / POS: 3
Electric outing from the left-hander, turning heads with a dominant performance on the big stage at LakePoint. Showed premium stuff with advanced pitchability, demonstrating the rare blend of velocity, movement, and command that separates high-level arms. Attacked with confidence, worked efficiently, and kept hitters completely off balance throughout his two-inning stint. The fastball sat 90–92 mph, touching 93, jumping out of the hand with explosive life and riding through the top of the zone. Paired it with a sharp, late-breaking slider at 79–83 mph that featured real depth and bite, a true swing and miss offering that tunneled exceptionally well off the fastball. He struck out five over two dominant innings, showing feel to land both pitches to both sides of the plate and expand when ahead. Following his performance at the Senior Future Games, he committed to the Clemson Tigers, adding a big-time arm to their future staff. One of the top left-handed showings and arms of the event. |

Daniel Head RHP / 3B / P27, SC / 2026Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 9
Athletic right-hander with a loose, clean operation, working from a low three-quarter arm slot that adds natural deception and angle. Attacked hitters aggressively with a well-executed two-pitch mix, showing both intent and poise on the mound. The fastball sat 87–90 mph, touching 91, featuring late arm-side life that created tough swings, especially in on right-handed hitters. He showed the ability to command the pitch to both sides of the plate, working effectively up and in or down and away. The slider at 77–79 mph had tight shape with late depth and sharp horizontal action, consistently thrown with feel and confidence. Bryce Meil RHP / 1B / Catawba Ridge, SC / 2026Rankings StateRank: 29 / POS: 8
Strong, durable frame with present strength and physicality on the mound. Works with a long arm action from a deceptive low three-quarter slot, creating tough angles and natural movement that disrupts timing. Shows feel and confidence in a three-pitch mix, consistently attacking hitters in and around the zone and generating swing-and-miss with all offerings. The fastball sat 86–90 mph, playing up due to angle and late life. It showed natural arm-side run, especially effective to right-handed hitters. The slider at 70–75 mph had sweeping break and late depth, showing promise as a chase pitch and freeze option early in counts. His changeup at 79–80 mph mirrored fastball arm speed and showed fading action, giving him a true third offering to keep hitters honest. Pitches with intent and competitiveness, and profiles well as a durable starter with pitchability and deception. |

Liam Purcell 3B / RHP / D.W. Daniel, SC / 2026Long, athletic, and highly projectable frame with significant room for continued physical development. Recently returned from an arm injury and is now fully healthy, showing no signs of restriction or hesitation in his delivery. Liam already flashes present stuff, but the upside is what truly stands out, the foundation is there for much more as he matures and gains strength. The fastball sat 85–89 mph, topping at 91, with lively action through the zone. It featured both ride up in the zone and arm-side run, creating difficult angles for hitters and inducing late swings. His slider, working at 75–77 mph, showed promising shape with tight spin and late, sweeping break, an effective secondary weapon that he’s able to land for strikes or use as a chase pitch. With his frame, athleticism, and current arsenal, Liam is a high-upside arm to monitor closely. Continued development and innings should only elevate his ceiling. |
