TEAM PREVIEW

Spencer Beltram RHP / Park Hill, MO / 2027

One of the highest-ceiling arms in the class, standing at a long, lean 6-foot-5, 201 pounds with plenty of room for added strength. Jumped onto the radar this preseason at the Kansas City Preseason ID, where he showcased a quick arm and athletic delivery, running his fastball up to 88 mph and sitting comfortably in the mid-80s—with more velocity to come. Shows feel to manipulate a tight breaking ball in the high 60s. A high-upside name to follow closely moving forward.

Cole Chambers INF/RHP / St. Louis University, MO / 2027

One of the top two-way prospects in the state’s class, currently ranked No. 4 overall and inside the top 150 nationally. Athletic 6-foot-2, 190-pound multi-sport standout who also excels as a goalkeeper on the soccer field. At the plate, Chambers features a line-drive approach from the right side with a connected swing that uses the whole field and projects for more power as he continues to fill out. Defensively, he’s a fluid, athletic mover with natural range on the infield and the tools to stick on the left side at the next level, including a 90 mph arm. On the mound, he operates with a controlled, repeatable delivery and commands a four-pitch mix—featuring a mid-to-upper-80s fastball, tight curveball, low-spin changeup, and a tumbling splitter.

Derek Chupp LHP / Francis Howell, MO / 2027

Few players have made bigger strides over the past year than Chupp, who has surged up the rankings this summer with several standout performances. Physically imposing at 6-foot-6, 229 pounds, he features a fastball that has touched 89 mph and sits comfortably in the mid-to-upper 80s, holding velocity deep into outings. Pairs it with a sharp, 2,500+ RPM slider in the low-to-mid 70s that he commands to both sides of the plate. A high-upside arm trending in the right direction.

Zachary DeHaas OF / Southern Boone, MO / 2027

High-level 6-foot-1, 179-pound athlete with some of the loudest tools in the class. DeHaas impacts the game in multiple ways and served as a key piece for a Southern Boone squad that ranked among the top teams in Missouri’s Class 4 this spring. One of the fastest players in the country, recently posting a 6.32 60-yard dash on our lasers. Features a rotational right-handed swing that produces consistent triple-digit exit velocities, with flashes of in-game power. Covers ground with ease in the outfield and pairs it with an 86 mph arm.

Ryan Dobratz RHP / Liberty (Wentzville), MO / 2027

Physically imposing at 6-foot-4, 222 pounds with strength throughout a durable frame. The top arm in Missouri’s class and the No. 2 overall prospect. Was a big winner at the Missouri Preseason All-State this winter, showcasing clear power arm potential. Ran his fastball up to 90 mph with carry through the zone, sitting comfortably in the upper 80s with plenty more in the tank. Complements it with a developing mid-to-upper 70s slider and a low-80s changeup, rounding out a promising arsenal.

Nathanael Eakins RHP / Logan-Rogersville, MO / 2027

Athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with strength spread throughout. Earned First Team All-State honors this spring as a go-to arm for Class 4 state runner-up Logan-Rogersville. An athletic mover on the mound with room to continue adding strength, already showing signs of polish and composure. Fastball plays with life, topping at 88 mph across multiple looks. Spins a tight, high-spin slider (2,300+ RPM) with late bite that projects as a true swing-and-miss offering.

Corde Gage OF/INF / Christian Brothers College, MO / 2027

Athletic 6-foot-1, 182-pound frame with lean strength and twitch, continuing to add physicality. A high-motor, all-around athlete who also stands out as a wide receiver on the gridiron. Shows 6.86 speed that translates both in the outfield—where he covers ground with ease—and on the bases. Offensively, features a quick, rotational right-handed swing that produces gap-to-gap line drives and near triple-digit exit velocities. Has put together a strong summer campaign and continues trending upward.

Owen Hughes LHP / Rockhurst, MO / 2027

Hughes is quickly emerging as a must-see arm in the Show-Me State and ranks among the fastest-rising left-handed pitchers in the country. Lean and athletic at 6-foot, 165 pounds with plenty of room to add strength. Shows repeatability and present arm speed from the left side having touched 92 mph this summer and sits comfortably in the upper 80s, frequently reaching 90 mph. His fastball plays with natural cut, creating difficult at-bats for right-handed hitters. Pairs it with a high-spin, upper-70s slider that serves as his go-to strikeout pitch and generates consistent swing-and-miss. Certianly a name to watch when he toes the rubber next week.

Landon Klee OF / Camdenton, MO / 2027

Long and athletic at 6-foot-4, 175 pounds with all kinds of upside. Has carried the momentum from a strong spring into the summer and emerged as one of the biggest risers in the class during the summer circuit. Smooth, athletic left-handed swing that consistently produces gap-to-gap power and has flashed upper-90s exit velocities across multiple looks. Defensively, he shows an 85 mph arm from the outfield and runs a 6.91 60 that plays up in game. One of the highest-upside athletes in the Missouri class.

Carson Leuthauser C / Eureka, MO / 2027

Compact, physical 5-foot-10, 200-pound frame. The top backstop in Missouri’s class and the No. 6 overall prospect. A hard-nosed competitor and steady presence behind the plate, Leuthauser controls the run game with a quick transfer and a strong, accurate arm out of the chute. Offensively, he swings a heavy right-handed barrel that’s consistently on time, driving the ball with authority to all fields and routinely producing triple-digit exit velocities. One of the premier power bats in the state.

Evan Loftis RHP / Liberty North, MO / 2027

Offers plenty of upside on the mound with a lean, projectable 6-foot-2, 184-pound frame. Has delivered several strong performances across several looks this summer. Fastball sits in the mid-to-upper 80s, touching 88 mph, and plays with heavy sink, consistently inducing weak contact. Complements it with a short-breaking slider in the low 70s and strong feel for a mid-to-upper 70s changeup that features heavy arm-side fade. An upside arm trending in the right direction.

Evan Magnuson RHP / Platte County, MO / 2027

Plenty to dream on in a long, projectable 6-foot-5, 203-pound frame. Magnuson was a go-to arm for the Pirates during their run to the Class 5 State Title this spring, earning First Team All-State honors. He shows advanced poise on the mound, working from a clean ¾ arm slot with a fastball that sits in the mid-80s and has reportedly touched 90 mph earlier this year. His size and fluid delivery suggest even more velocity is on the way. Consistently lands a low-70s breaking ball for strikes in all counts and rounds out his arsenal with a fading changeup, occasionally mixing in a sinker to keep hitters off balance.

Carter Martin RHP / Warrenton, MO / 2027

Lean and athletic at 6-foot-0, 171 pounds with plenty of room to add strength and size. Served as a frontline starter for Warrenton this spring, helping guide them to a conference title. Features a loose, quick arm and spins one of the top swing-and-miss breaking balls in the region—sitting in the mid-to-upper 70s with elite spin rates in the 2,700–2,900 RPM range. It tunnels effectively off a fastball that sits in the upper-80s and continues to trend upward with more velocity likely on the way. Also mixes in a developing 79–80 mph changeup to round out a high-upside arsenal.

Andrew Maultsby C / Staley, MO / 2027

Versatile 6-foot-0, 175-pound athlete who can impact the game from virtually any spot on the field. Played a key role in one of the state’s top offenses this spring, helping lead Staley to a runner-up finish in Missouri’s Class 6. Has consistently performed throughout the spring and summer circuit, firmly establishing himself as one of the top offensive players in the state’s class. Possesses elite barrel control from a simple, controlled right-handed swing that produces hard contact to all fields. Shows easy arm strength across the diamond (92 mph) and from behind the plate (82 mph) with 1.83–1.99 pop times. A 6.78 runner who can also change the game on the basepaths.

Cameron Miller INF/RHP / Nixa, MO / 2027

Few players have had a hotter summer than Miller, who has firmly cemented himself as a must-see name on both sides of the ball. A lean 6-foot-4, 175-pound athlete with wiry strength and plenty of projection remaining. Offensively, he features a compact, inside-out right-handed swing that consistently translates in-game, showing gap-to-gap power across multiple looks. On the mound, Miller consistently performs each time he toes the rubber, displaying advanced feel to pitch and command of a polished four-pitch mix. His fastball touches 88 mph, and he spins two distinct, high-spin breaking balls while mixing in a fading changeup.

Peter Nickson INF / Rockhurst, MO / 2027

Strong, compact 5-foot-11, 184-pound frame. A standout spring with the Hawklets has fueled a breakout summer for Nickson, firmly establishing him as one of the biggest risers in the class. A proven producer at the plate, he consistently finds the barrel with a clean, polished, and connected left-handed swing. The power continues to emerge as he’s added strength, showing more impact in-game. Versatile defender on the infield with smooth actions and an 87 mph arm across the diamond.

Brandon Ott RHP / De Smet Jesuit, MO / 2027

Physical 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame. Ranked No. 7 in Missouri’s soon-to-be junior class and the No. 2 right-handed pitcher. A competitive strike-thrower who fills up the zone with a fastball that sits comfortably in the mid-80s and has been up to 87 mph. Works from a fluid, repeatable delivery with a loose, whippy arm action. Shows advanced feel for a low-spin changeup and a sweeping breaking ball in the low 70s that profiles as a swing-and-miss offering.

Max Partney INF / Hillsboro, MO / 2027

Physically built at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds with strength throughout. One of the premier power bats in the state’s class, ranked No. 8 overall and inside the top 250 nationally. Generates effortless strength from the left-handed side of the plate with aggressive, intentful swings that aim to elevate and drive the baseball. Advanced hand and bat speed, paired with a swing that consistently translates in-game, gives him clear middle-of-the-order power potential at the next level.

Warren Robertson OF / Rockhurst, MO / 2027

Physical 6-foot-3, 194-pound frame with room to add more strength. A must-see name who continues to improve with each look, showcasing tools on both sides of the ball. Displays present strength at the plate with a balanced right-handed swing that gets on plane and drives the ball to all fields with authority. Consistently handles velocity well thanks to a mature approach in the box. Also features a 90 mph arm from the outfield and can run it up into the high 80s on the mound.

Parker Sansone RHP / Timberland, MO / 2027

6-foot-1, 180 pounds with strength throughout. Sansone was one of the biggest risers this winter, climbing to No. 18 in our rankings after a standout showing at the GBA Scout Day. His fastball plays with carry in the upper 80s, topping out at 91 mph with spin rates exceeding 2,300 RPM. He complements that with a cutter in the mid-80s and a curveball that features depth at 72-74 mph with 2,400+ RPM. Occasionally throws a low-80s changeup that kills spin and has late fade.

Rylan Sutton OF / Ozark, MO / 2027

Strong and athletic 6-foot-0, 192-pound frame. Ranked No. 19 in the class. Recent standout at the Missouri Games earlier this summer, earning Most Valuable Player honors. Impacts the game with a powerful left-handed swing, generating easy bat speed and strength from a quick, long, and level barrel through the zone. Consistently produces triple-digit exit velocities with feel to elevate the ball to the pull side.

Jase Wilkinson LHP / Miller, MO / 2027

Wilkinson emerged as one of the biggest winners this past winter after an impressive showing at our Marucci Midwest Scout Day—and he’s only continued to trend upward since. The lean 6-foot-1, 174-pound left-hander recently helped lead Miller to a Class 2 State Championship and has continued to dominate across multiple looks this summer. His fastball sits in the upper 80s and touches the low 90s, generating swing-and-miss at the top of the zone with up to 18 inches of induced vertical break. He complements it with a tight, mid-70s swing-and-miss slider, a low-70s curveball with depth, and a fading changeup in the upper 70s that kills spin. One of the more intriguing arms to follow in the state.

Michael Wolff OF / Fort Zumwalt West, MO / 2027

Compact and strong 5-foot-10, 180-pound build. Ranked No. 17 in Missouri’s soon-to-be junior class, Wolff is coming off a breakout spring for one of the top teams in the state—Fort Zumwalt West—where he earned First Team All-State honors. A top-of-the-order bat, he swings a strong, compact right-handed barrel that stays through the middle of the field with elite feel for the barrel, hitting north of .415 this spring. Clean, athletic defensive actions with the versatility to play both infield and outfield. High-level baserunning instincts with 6.90 speed and the ability to swipe bags with ease.

Brady Yates INF / Glendale, MO / 2027

Physical and athletic at 6-foot-2, 202 pounds, Yates is currently the top-ranked prospect in the Show Me State and brings loud, game-changing tools on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he boasts some of the most raw power in the class, swinging a polished, heavy right-handed barrel that’s already shown middle-of-the-order potential at the next level. Consistently posts exit velocities north of 100 mph with a mature approach at the plate, earning 1st Team All State honors as a freshman. Defensively, he shows smooth actions and natural arm strength on the left side of the infield, which also plays on the mound, where he runs his fastball into the upper 80s as part of a confident three-pitch mix. Yates is a must-see name throughout the week.
