Listed at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds, Nickson showed considerable bat speed and feel for the barrel at the plate resulting in a 93.7 mph exit velocity. Defensively, the sophomore logged a 78 mph velocity and 1.94-1.97 pop times from behind the plate as well as a 84 mph infield velocity. Nickson then wrapped up the day by hopping on the mound and tossing his fastball from 83-84 mph to go alongside a curveball/slider/changeup mix.
