Nathanael Eakins SS / RHP / Logan-Rogersville, MO / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 22 / POS: 2 Eakins has logged a lot of innings at short for the Wildcats while providing a boost at the bottom of the order.

Bode Schenewerk SS / RHP / Jefferson City, MO / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 26 / POS: 3 Schenewerk has slotted in as the everyday shortstop for Jefferson City, and has been a big contributor at the plate from the middle of the lineup.

Beckett York SS / C / Lebanon, MO / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 37 / POS: 4 York put together a spectacular 2025 campaign, ending the season batting over .500 while playing a clean defensive shortstop.

Peter Nickson SS / C / Rockhurst, MO / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 40 / POS: 5 Nickson has logged the majority of his reps this season at second and third base, and has moved around in the batting order a good amount, but has produced at every spot.
