The Oregon high school baseball season has officially concluded, with state champions crowned in Keizer, Roseburg and Eugene. After fully examining the spring season, Prep Baseball Oregon officially releases our 2025 All-State Teams.

This year's teams are split into a first and second team made up of 6A/5A players, as well as another first team for 4A/3A/2A/1A players. The All-State sides feature some of the highest ranked prospects in the state. A vast majority of this year's All-State players have also attended a Prep Baseball event, showcasing their skills at Prep Baseball showcases and tournaments.

Below, we highlight some of the players and key takeaways from each All-State Team.

Schoolcraft, Nelson, Cruse Highlight 6A/5A First Team

The First Team All-State is headlined by the two-time Prep Baseball Oregon Player of the Year, '25 LHP/1B Kruz Schoolcraft. The top-ranked senior out of Sunset High School had an exceptional final year of his high school career on both sides of the baseball. Schoolcraft hit .482 at the plate, reaching base at over a .600 clip with 10 HR and 30 RBI. The tall lefty really separated himself on the mound, where he threw to a 0.39 ERA in 54 IP with 96 K to 16 BB. The Tennessee commit capped off his high school career by winning his first state title for 6A Sunset High School.

'26 INF Sawyer Nelson is another standout from the 6A/5A First Team. The LMU commit was a huge part of a remarkable season from 6A South Salem, who finished the season 29-1. Perhaps no bat was more dominant than the junior's, hitting .515 with 13 HR, 13 2B and 64 RBI in the middle of the Saxon order. The Prep Baseball Future Games alum won our Hitter of the Week award this spring and was hot start-to-finish, including a 2 HR, 7 RBI game in the postseason.

Senior Kaeden Cruse finished his high school career with a loud spring, leading 6A Grant to a state final's appearance and winning OSAA's 6A Player of the Year. The corner infielder was another daunting presence with over-the-wall power in the middle of the General batting order. Cruse's season was highlighted by a 2 HR, 5 RBI game seen by Prep Baseball staff in Grant's state semi's matchup. Cruse will be playing college baseball at Clark College next season.

Deep Talent Pool in Second Team

Several players earned Second Team honors for Prep Baseball that were the best players in their conferences this spring. On the mound, senior RHP Johnny Ingalls was a horse for Jesuit, throwing to a 1.44 ERA in 58 IP. Silverton arm Bryson Nygren was another standout arm, throwing to a 1.92 ERA with 61 K in 40 IP.

On the two-way side, INF/RHP Noah Boria had an incredible season for Nelson, hitting .447 with 14 XBH and throwing 64 innings on the mound to a 2.1 ERA. Rylan Mathiesen, Declan O'Brien, and Jace Dalton all had superb two-way seasons as well.

The catching position is comprised of two highly-ranked players in senior Isaac Pfeiefer and sophomore Joe Mendazona. Brock Johnson headlines the Second Team infield after hittting .490 with 49 hits, while Jackson Hertel was also incredible, hitting .475 with 16 XBH.

4A/3A/2A/1A Features Several Player of the Year's

The 4A and below classifications in Oregon make up the other First Team this season. The team is comprised of a deep talent pool, featuring several Player of the Year's for each classification. Henley High School two-way player Mark Carpenter earned OSAA 4A POTY and earns a spot on our First Team as well. Two-way talent Drew Bartels earns similar honors as 3A POTY. Ty Hellenthal nabbed 2A/1A POTY, securing his first-ever appearance on our All State side.

Evan Lehnert was a dominant arm for 4A Pendleton, earning Pitcher of the Year for the classification. Junior Zack Hankins put together a historic run for 3A Taft this spring, making him another easy choice for the First Team pitchers. RHP Ryder Hockema put together a great year, throwing 62.1 innings with a 1.68 ERA and 86 K.

The position group from the 4A and below First Team is comprised of many OSAA first teamers. Standouts include Tyson McGrorty, Conner Shively, and Quinton Olson. A deep and talented group, the 4A/3A/2A/1A First Team is a great blend of young talent and experienced prospects.
