Kamran Alikhan OF / Nazareth Academy, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 86 / POS: 14
John A. Logan JC Commit From 10/05/25: “+ OF Kamran Alikhan (Nazareth Academy, 2026) came into the event as one of the top uncommitted players in the 2026 class and showed why as he shined throughout the event. Currently ranked No. 86 in the state. Alikhan is listed with a strong 5-foot-11, 190-pound athletic frame. The right-handed hitter operates from a wide base with a small stride. He has a compact swing that creates loft on impact with a pull-side approach. Alikhan had an average batted ball distance of 226 feet with a max of 397 feet. He also posted a max exit velocity of 101.6 mph. The senior showed serious bat speed as he posted an average of 77.8 mph with a max of 85.3 mph. Drew Borkowski III OF / RHP / Huntley, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 85 / POS: 13
Heartland CC Commit From 2/19/25: “RHP/OF Drew Borkowski (Huntley, 2026) was a big winner all-around from the event. The athletic 6-foot-1, 179-pound prospect still has room to fill out the frame, and has certainly made big strides since we last saw him at the State Games in the summer. At the plate, the right-handed hitter took one of the loudest rounds of the day, reaching up to 102 mph for his EV with controlled intent and a repeatable swing that works flat through the zone, working with intent to stay up the middle of the field. On the bump, he is a loose and athletic mover down the hill. His fastball sat 87-88 mph with 2-seam characteristics (avg. 11.5” HM) filling the zone 80% of the time, which was the second-highest clip for that pitch for the event. He showed both a slider and a curveball in his ‘pen, where each seemed to have firmer action than when we last saw him. His curveball was thrown at 79-80 mph for strikes (67%) with late break to it, playing well off his fastball. The slider flashed at 78-80 mph with short, late downer action. His changeup remains to be perhaps his most polished offering, thrown with intent and confidence at 80-82 mph with fade and sink, for a 60% strike percentage.” |

Nathan Cera OF / RHP / Maine South, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 71 / POS: 9
Wisconsin-Parkside Commit From 8/05/25: “+ INF/RHP Nathan Cera (Maine South, 2026) is an uncommitted senior whose game continues to trend in the right direction with each look our staff gets. A trim, high-waisted athlete standing at 6-foot, 159-pounds, Cera was on the barrel during gameplay, collecting a couple base-knocks, while also stealing a bag when he reached. Defensively, he plays with bounce and handles the hot corner well. Cera also ran a 6.61 60 time, shedding 0.58 seconds off his time since we last saw him in July. Showed an interesting look on the mound as well. Features a drop-and-drive delivery landing cross-fire. Clean arm-action with a side-arm slot. Strong two pitch mix. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with sink and slider sat 72-75 mph with a max spin rate of 2811 rpm with sweep and feel.” |

Athletic mover with a high coiled leg lift into a directional tall-and-fall delivery. Clean, full arm circle with a ¾ slot. Featured a quality two-pitch mix. Attacked with a riding fastball (max 17.6 IVB) at 82-83 mph that generated swing-and-miss up in the zone. Mixed in a high spinning breaking ball with a max of 2,547 rpms at 67-69 mph with feel to throw it in any count. Struck out two over two scoreless innings.” |

Logan Fernandez OF / Mount Carmel, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 94 / POS: 17
Triton JC Commit From 3/07/25: “One of the toolsier and more projectable prospects of the day was OF Logan Fernandez (Mount Carmel, 2026). He’s a premier athlete with a 6.67 in the 60, though we’ve had him down to a 6.41 in the past. The right-handed hitter has an upside swing with some length and extension through the zone, averaging 90 mph for his EV with a peak of 97.7 mph - also averaging 74 mph for his bat-speed and 22 mph for his hand-speed. In the outfield, Fernandez is a fluid mover with long/athletic strides, covering ground with ease and looking to be comfortable tracking fly balls. His arm strength has ticked up tremendously, reaching up to 96 mph from a crow hop which is nine mph higher than the summer.” |

Alex Henry RHP / 3B / Marion, IL / 2026Rend Lake JC Commit From 7/09/25: “RHP Alex Henry (Marion, 2026) showed well at last year’s Southern Illinois Summer ID and ran it back as he flashed an improved arsenal. Henry has a physical 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. The right-hander operates from a simple, controlled delivery while having a full, clean arm action from a ¾ slot. Henry threw the hardest max fastball velocity at 85.1 mph while sitting 82-84 mph. His fastball has a 94% spin efficiency while having an average induced vertical break of 17 inches. Henry also showed a slider that sat 68-70 mph while having an average horizontal movement of -4.8 inches and a zone percentage of 80%. His changeup showed heavy fade while having an average horizontal movement of 15.6 inches (18.6 inches max) and sitting 71-74 mph with a spin efficiency of 89%. Henry rounded out his four-pitch mix with a curveball that sat 65-67 mph with an average induced vertical break of -5.8 inches (-6.5 inches max) and an average horizontal movement of -5.6 inches (-7.4 inches max).” |

Colten Knoedler C / SS / Glenwood, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 202 / POS: 26
Lincoln Land CC Commit From 5/20/25: “Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame with room to add strength. Started behind the plate and hit out of the three-hole. Knoedler had quite the game on Tuesday as he went 3-for-4 at the plate. The right-handed hitter operates from a bent, balanced base with a toe-tap. Strong hands from a compact swing with an uphill bat path. Long through the zone with some whip. Showed a whole field approach with some power to come. Connected on three singles throughout the game on Tuesday. In his first at bat, he sent a ball back up the middle. Followed up in his second at bat with a single into left field. His third at bat was a flyout to right field. In his final at bat, he connected on a single into right field. Smooth receiver behind the plate.” |
|
Shea Leahy RHP / 1B / Brother Rice, IL / 2026Purdue-Northwest Commit From 2/21/25: “RHP Shea Leahy (Brother Rice, 2026) is a physical right-hander that gave a loud look on Monday. Standing in at 6-foot-2, 235-pounds, Leahy has present strength in his build with broad shoulders and a barrel chest. He has impressive arm-strength with a fastball up to 88 mph, cruising in the 87-88 mph range with some carry through the zone. His splitter looks to be his best secondary with downer action, playing around the zone and selling the offering with arm-speed. The curveball has developing spin and feel, sitting 72-75 mph with 11/5 shape.” |

Braydon McKendrick LHP / OF / Brother Rice, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 65 / POS: 12
John A. Logan JC Commit From 5/14/25: “Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 50 in the Illinois’ 2026 class. Has been one of the top arms for Brother Rice all spring, as well as one of the top arms in the Chicago Catholic League. Put together yet another strong performance, this time vs. a Top-5 team. Took a no hitter into the seventh inning. In total, went six-plus innings, one hit, one earned run, struck out four and walked three. Fastball was playing at 86-88 mph early, settled 83-85 by 5th. Was consistently mixing and manipulating two different breaking balls throughout; SL 75-76 mph, CB 70-72 mph. Highly competitive on the mound, showed athleticism bouncing off the mound to make plays and also picked off a runner with a quick, step off move. Uncommitted left-hander to know in the Illinois’ 2026 class.” |

Quin Paprockas C / OF / Montini Catholic, IL / 2026Joliet JC Commit From 10/05/25: “+ C Quin Paprockas (Montini Catholic, 2026) had one of the top defensive performances as he posted a 1.94-2.01 pop time with a 78 mph catcher velocity. Paprockas is listed with a strong 5-foot-10, 196-pound frame. The right-handed hitter has a balanced base with a small stride. Pure swing with a pull-side approach. He had a max batted ball distance of 345 mph with a max EV of 93.6 mph. The catcher also had an impressive 81.5 mph max bat speed.” |
|
Adrian Perez 1B / 1B / St. Laurence, IL / 2026South Suburban JC Commit From 8/05/25: “1B Adrian Perez (St. Laurence, 2026) was a key member of a St. Laurence squad that took home the 3A State championship and continues to perform throughout the summer. The right-handed hitter operates from a balanced base with a small leg lift. Perez has a simple swing that is long through the zone while having a gap-to-gap approach. Perez posted a max EV of 99 mph during Tuesday’s workout. An interesting uncommitted first baseman that should garner plenty of attention.” |

Jason Phillips 3B / RHP / Plano, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 114 / POS: 8
Kennesaw State Commit From 3/07/25: “INF/RHP Jason Phillips (Plano, 2026) continues to impress as a physical two-way prospect in the state. He took an ulta-loud round of BP, reaching up to 103 mph for his EV while averaging 92 mph, showcasing a direct and quick swing with easy bat-speed (81.5 mph avg.), creating loud contact up the middle and to his pull-side. On the mound, the right-hander has a loose and whippy ¾ arm, creating a fastball with natural sink in the 86-88 mph range, topping at 89 mph. He paired the fastball with a slider that showed short 10/4 shape, flashing sharp action and depth at 77-79 mph (T2745 rpm). His final offering was a changeup at 77-80 mph, playing with hard running action to his arm-side.” |
|
Chase Rhodes RHP / OF / Tremont, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 36 / POS: 9
John A. Logan JC Commit From 7/23/25: “RHP Chase Rhodes (Tremont, 2026) got the ball to start for Team Heartland, sitting 88-90 mph with his fastball, while also working in a 76-78 mph slider. The projectable 6-foot-4, 190-pound righty would allow just one hit with one strikeout in his two innings of work.” |
|

|
Aiden Robles RHP / OF / Yorkville, IL / 2026Illinois-Springfield Commit From 10/05/25: “+ RHP Aiden Robles (Yorkville, 2026) is a name that continues to perform at a high level during our events. Zach Rubin SS / OF / Antioch, IL / 2026Rankings StateRank: 150 / POS: 27
Wisconsin-Stevens Point Commit From 8/05/25: “INF/OF Zach Rubin (Antioch, 2026) should be a name to follow from the event. He was a consistent performer in gameplay, finishing 2-for-6 with a double, run scored and two walks. Consistently attacked pitches in the zone while staying on time, sent 88 mph right back up the middle for a loud single. Athletic hands with a fluid path that creates length out front. 6.80 runner to pair.” |
|
Nicholas Santis 1B / RHP / Hononegah, IL / 2026Oakton CC Commit From 3/12/25: “Nicholas Santis (Hononegah, 2026) was yet another infielder to mention from the event. Santis flashed one of the more dynamic right-handed swings on the day, especially when timing was right. The 6-foot, 190-pound, physical right-handed hitter has loose, athletic hands that create whip and loud contact off the barrel. It was inconsistent at times, but when right the ball jumps off the barrel with raw big power attached. He peaked at 98.1 mph with a max batted ball of 360’. He also had an average bat speed of 76.4 mph which was second best of the event.” |

|
Camden Taylor SS / RHP / Morton, IL / 2026Dubuque Commit From 2/19/25: “A left-handed hitter to make note of from the day is INF Camden Taylor (Morton, 2026). Standing in at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, he’s a projectable looking prospect with some strength still to come in his frame, and his operation at the plate looks to have some upside as well. He showed a balanced and fluid swing throughout his round, staying through the hitting zone and utilizing a pull-side approach throughout, reaching up to 90.3 mph for his EV with a max distance of 341’. He’s an athletic mover on the infield with fluid footwork, also showing confident hands with a quick transfer.” |

Mason Bruesch OF / RHP / Geneva, IL / 2027Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 7
Michigan State Commit From 8/05/25: “RHP Mason Bruesch (Geneva, 2027) continues to intrigue with each look our staff gets on him this summer. Fresh off the Future Games, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-hander was showing feel for all of his offerings once again. His fastball sat 80-85 mph (T86) with sink (avg. 9.3” IVB), while pairing that well with a slider at 70-76 mph. Bruesch would also turn over a changeup at 82-84 mph, finding the zone 100% of the time and tossed in a curveball once at 71 mph (2322 rpm) to round out the arsenal. Bruesch showed the ability to miss barrels throughout his outing; failing to surrender a hit, while punching out two.” |
|
Jacsen Tucker SS / 3B / Oswego East, IL / 2027Oklahoma State Commit From 7/26/25: “FROM 2025 FUTURE GAMES: Staying on the subject of high-ceiling infielders, INF Jacsen Tucker (Oswego East) headlines that list. He has a high-waisted frame you can easily dream on, standing in at a long-levered 6-foot-4, 180-pounds with much more room to add strength. He had one of the louder rounds of BP from the Illinois group, peaking at 101 mph with a flat, athletic stroke. He really stands out on the dirt with natural, athletic actions - showing clear feel for the position with range to either side, clean/crisp transfers and timing through the baseball. Must-see name for the Illinois group. GAMEPLAY: Few people garnered as much helium as Tucker did after the first night of gameplay, as he launched two home runs in the nightcap - one pull-side and one to the opposite field. He profiles on the left side of the infield, but he also showed the ability to move into the outfield where he stands out with athletic actions and range.” |
