1B Adrian Perez (St. Laurence, 2026) was a key member of a St. Laurence squad that took home the 3A State championship and continues to perform throughout the summer. The right-handed hitter operates from a balanced base with a small leg lift. Perez has a simple swing that is long through the zone while having a gap-to-gap approach. Perez posted a max EV of 99 mph during Tuesday’s workout. An interesting uncommitted first baseman that should garner plenty of attention.

A strong 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame, Perez was showing well with the bat Sunday morning, going 2-for-3 with a single and triple. Setting up the right-hander gets into his lower half, using a high leg kick with slight twitch in the box. The hands work strong through the zone, creating separation and a flat path. Perez was able to show power pull-side and up the middle.
