From top-end burners who can turn singles into doubles to physical prospects combining strength and agility, this group features some of the fastest and most dynamic players in the state. Each player on this list has shown the ability to use their speed as a true weapon, influencing games both on the basepaths and in the field while projecting as high-level prospects at the next level.

A true five-tool player, Braden Swaney consistently appears on every “Top Tools” list, cementing his status as one of Nebraska’s most well-rounded talents. His 6.79 sixty might not immediately stand out compared to others on this list, but his 1.68 10-yard split reveals elite first-step quickness. At a lean 160 pounds, there’s still plenty of room for added strength, suggesting even more explosiveness to come as his physical maturation continues.
