Then and Now
Garcia has always been one of the top prospect in the 2028 class, but still hasn't stopped progressing since 14u. He kicked things off with us in 2022 and has attended an event each year, so it is really fun to see the progression. Lets take a look at the 60-yard dash first. He started in 2022 with a 7.39 and each year it got quicker and quicker. 2023 he ran a 7.15, 2024 he ran a 6.88 and in August of this year he ran a 6.64. Now lets take a look at the arm strength in the infield. The actions have alway stood out, but strength takes time. Starting in 2022 he was 80mph across the diamond. 2023 he was 81mph, 2024 he was 82mph and flash forward to August of this year he was 90mpb. Finally lets take a look at the trackman hitting numbers. From 2022 to 2025 he went from a max exit velcity of 88.9mph to 102.9. Where Lio impresses most in batting practice is the consitency he shows in his rounds and the bat speed. He is going to be a name to know for a long time with a big sophomore year on the way.

Hit: RHH. Open stance, low hands, almost level barrel. Pull side power, upper cut swing. 74.9 mph bat speed with 29 G's of rotational acceleration.

Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Loose, over the top.
Defense: Smooth, good footwork.

Body: 5-9, 151-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Tall setup, hands by the ear. Barrels to the whole field, maximizes his power without selling out. 76 mph bat speed with 21 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 88.4 mph. 350' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. OF-89 mph. Whippy arm action, strong, smooth release
Defense: Quick feet, smooth transfer, fields ball out in front, quick efficient transfer

Body: 5-10, 150-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Low hands, with narrow base. Quick swing, Simple approach, can hit to all fields.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 85.0 mph. 306' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. OF-88 mph. Above average arm for age. Strong, efficient action. Accurate throws
Defense: Athletic. Soft hands and ranges well side to side.
