Nebraska - As we head into 2026, Prep Baseball Nebraska took an in-depth look at the numbers collected from our events throughout the past year. 2025 was an outstanding year as we continued our mission to help players across the state reach the next level—providing a platform to showcase their abilities and be seen by college programs nationwide. More than 900 colleges and professional teams subscribe to Prep Baseball’s services.
Today we look at the best uncommitted position players in the class of 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029.
BEST UNCOMMITTED CLASS OF 2026

Noah Carroll RHP / 1B / Millard South, NE / 2026Rankings StateRank: 24 / POS: 8
A steady performer for one of the state’s premier programs. Carroll attacks the zone with three pitches to both sides of the plate and topped at 89 mph at his event, sitting 84–87 in game action. He posted a 1.56 ERA in spring ’25, striking out 17 in 20 innings while allowing just one extra-base hit. He also offers two-way potential at the next level with routine upper-90s exit velocities and plus athleticism at first base, with the ability to handle a corner outfield spot. |

Garrett Ringenberg RHP / 3B / Elkhorn North High School, NE / 2026Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 9
A two-sport athlete with a strong 5’11”, 205-pound frame. Ringenberg reached 88 mph at a recent ID event—impressively coming directly from football practice. His curveball shows short action in the zone, and he has a true ability to kill spin on the changeup. Though he won’t be seen much this fall due to football, he’s an arm recruiters should keep on their radar. |

Brown sat 85–87 mph for Team Nebraska at the Super Senior Games in KC, featuring unique movement characteristics. His fastball spun at 2,323 rpm with 96% efficiency, creating 19.3 inches of induced vertical break and 22 inches of horizontal movement. He complements it with a sweeping slider and a changeup he can kill spin on. An above-average athlete with plenty of upside as he transitions to full-time pitching. |

The ace of the 2025 State Champion Lincoln East Spartans, Larsen went 6–0 with 36 strikeouts to 12 walks and a 2.55 ERA. He worked an efficient two innings for Team Midwest at the 2025 Future Games, topping at 89.3 mph. His curveball stands out as a potential next-level out pitch with the ability to manipulate shape and location, reaching a max of -19.3 inches of vertical break. |

Projectability stands out in Foster’s slender 6’2”, 175-pound frame. An impressive two-way performer for Team Nebraska at the Super Sophomore Games, Vosik topped at 90 mph from an athletic 6’0”, 175-pound build. His relaxed, efficient delivery creates easy momentum down the slope. Coupled with a 6.86 sixty, 89 mph infield velocity, and 95.4 mph exit velocity, he’s a must-watch for Creighton Prep this spring. |
