PA Class of 2028 (Fall Edition)

2028 Player Rankings are here, after the fall event schedule we look to do a modest update before the new year. This group is defined by its elite core talent: high-end arm talent at the top, devastating power bats, and a deep roster of uber-athletic prospects and some legitimate two-way talent. The raw ability in the 2028 class is undeniable, featuring players who possess tools that project immediately at the highest levels of the sport.
Players in this class are gearing up for a big 2026 spring/summer as they near towards August 1st. We as a staff are excited to not only watch the growth of the players on this list, but the to see the new faces that emerge as we travel across the state in our Preseason Tour.
++ Carson Steingall emerged as one of the most significant risers and compelling stories during the fall showcase circuit. Steingall, an athletic right-hander, was a standout performer at the New Jersey Fall Top Prospect Games, dominating opposing hitters and immediately moving onto the radar of Prep Baseball Scouts. His athletic, projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame still holds considerable physical maturation potential, suggesting a significant velocity increase is likely as he adds strength. High-ceiling arm with present command and velocity. Steingall's fastball sits comfortably in the 90-92 MPH range, explosive arm action with 19"+ IVB creating discomfort for hitters. He showed command of all pitches, dominating the zone and executing the pitch to all quadrants, challenging hitters consistently both in/out. Carson Steingall’s fall performance was a clear indication of his status as one of the region's top emerging arms. Steingall is primed to be one of the most heavily followed and highly scouted right-handers in the Keystone State this upcoming spring season.
