Chase Alonso, Rabun Gap Nacoochee School (GA), 2028 |
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-3, 205-pounds.
Delivery: Effective mechanics that hides the ball well. Moves well down the slope easily and violently.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 Release. Violent arm action and comes after hitters with both fastballs that produced plenty of in-zone whiffs. Primary offspeed pitch was a mid-70s slider with some sweep and late action that righties didn't have an answer for. Also worked in a low-80s changeup that was effective against left-handed bats. Intriguing pitchability and feel for each pitch.
FB: T88, 88-88 mph. Showcased two FBs; a four-seam sitting 88-89 MPH with ride traits. Also worked in a sinker at the same velocity with intriguing arm-side run. T2075, 2025 average rpm.

Tristan Arrowood, Villa Rica (GA), 2027 |
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-11, 178.6-pounds.
Delivery: Easy mechanics down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 Release. Attacked hitters with his fastball that was effective on both sides of the dish and consistently collected in-zone whiffs. Sprinkled in a mid-70s knuckleball that gave righties fits. Worked two different breaking balls; a mid-70s slider with gyro action and a low-70's curveball with depth and worked well low in the zone.
FB: T88, 84-87 mph. Ride traits; 84-86 MPH that plays well up in the zone. T2549, 2467 average rpm.

Jaxon Bambarger, East Hall (GA), 2027 |
Positional Profile: RHP/OF

Delivery: Controlled mechanics and a good mover on the mound.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 Release. Worked primarily fastball but worked in two other offspeed pitches. A curveball with some downward action and a mid-70s changeup with some good deception. Did a fine job of keeping barrels at a minimum and keeping the ball on the ground.

Delivery: Easy delivery and good feel for the mound. Does a good job getting into the lower half.
Arm Action: LH. 3/4 Release. Went after hitters with the fastballs as it generated plenty of in-zone whiffs. The primary offering was a curveball around 70 MPH with tight downward action. Also worked in a low-70s slider that had depth and played well down in the strike zone . Effective pitchability with a good feel of each offering.
