What stands out about Areaya is his quick hands and strong arm. At the plate, he shows some real barrel whip in the bat and has the natural ability to hit balls with some pace. As he gains more experience at the plate, the skill level will catch up to the tools. His feet work in the infield and has soft hands. On the mound, Luis sat 82-84mph at T85. FB has sink to it and comes from a H3/4 slot. SL at 75-76mph and complimented his FB. Sinker/slider guy with low mileage.
Brayden Brooks | OF | Cooper | 2028 | L/L | 6’1” 185
In the OF, Brooks is a rangy defender with a solid arm and carry to his ball. A natural athletic mover, ran a 7.15 60. In the box, he shows some bat speed with a solid barrel release. Looks comfortable at the plate and creates good rhythm in his hands and feet. Brayden had a 2B and LD single to RF in game play. Lots of upside on this L/L OF.

With a top pop time of 1.94 to 2B, Frausto looked good behind the dish. There is plenty of arm strength, but the quickness of his feet and release are what really stood out. He’s a soft handed catcher who shows both agility and quickness. Offensively, Roberto shows quick hands and a G2G approach. A hit over power style of guy, he lined out to CF and had a base hit up the middle. Solid competitor.

On the left side of the bump, his FB sat 80-81mph but seemed to have really late jump. He rounded out his arsenal with a SL (69mph) and a CH (73mph). His gamesmanship will improve with maturity, but there’s no doubt the tools are there.
Santiago Perozo | C/3B/RHP | Cypress Woods | 2028 | R/R | 5’8”165
Perozo is the type of player coaches love on their team; a competitor. Whether he’s behind the plate throwing 1.86 pops to 2B, barreling balls through the middle of the field, or sitting 83-84mph with heavy sink on the mound; he’s got the right mentality. He can really catch and throw behind the plate with soft hands, a strong arm and decent foot speed. More hit over power, Santiago grinded out good AB’s during game play with several barreled up balls right at guys.

It’s an aggressive mentality and the hitters seem to feel it. FB sat 85-86mph with ~19 IVB. The SL was equally impressive. It sat 75-76mph and had a late/sharp break to it. At the plate, there is some length to his swing, however, he shows good bat to ball skill. He ended up with a base hit to LF and a single up the middle. There is G2G pop with more to come as he fills out his frame.
