We have a brand new content piece we are going to be rolling out throughout the off season. It is called "Then and Now". We will look back on players we have seen at events throughout the year and see the strides they have made in their game.

Check back daily to see a new player featured.

Then and Now

The Denmark infielder finishes the year ranked at #15 in the state for the class and has made significant strides in his game since we first saw him in the showcase setting at the Rising Stars: Preseason All-State in March of 2024. Fast forward to now where Nystrom finished his Fall circuit with us at Southeast Super Sophomore Games in August where his numbers were up drastically across the board. His max ecit velocity increased nearly 13mph from 86.0mph  to 98.6mph. Avgerage exit velocity increased 78.3mph to 87.1mph. Max distance increased 70ft from 286ft to 356ft. 60 time increased from a 7.67 to a 7.01. Athletic actions in the dirt with present arm strength as he added 14mph to his INF velo from 76mph to 90mph. Nystrom has cemented himself near the top of the ranks after a highly impressive year and looks to carry a huge role once again this Spring with the Danes.

Scouting Report

10/16/24

Uncommitted. What a weekend it was for the freshman at the plate. Went 9-for-14 with 5 singles/ 3 doubles/ 1 triple/ 6 RBI’s. An athletic 5-foot-8, 150-pound frame with already sneaky strength to project on. The LHH possesses a quiet confidence at the plate and displays a well-connected stroke with fluidity through the zone and innate bat-to-ball to match. Delivers a whippy barrel through the zone with a tremendous feel for the barrel in an all-fields approach.. Showcases one of the smoothest strokes in the class with loud signs of a present budding hit-tool. Versatile defender that can move around the infield and play any position at a high-level. Name to know.
