This series aims to highlight standout performers at our top invite-only 2025 PNW State Games event. Prep Baseball spotlights aim to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. Today, we spotlight '27 C Ethan Nguyen. The junior from Mercer Island High School showed well in Vancouver, highlighted by a 1.91 second pop time defensively and mid-90's exit velocities at the plate.

Delivery: Sets in upright posture from slight 1B side of the rubber. Works from full wind with hands set below the chin. Bend in drive knee through wind and extension. Long extension with lead leg down the mound. Balanced finish.
Arm Action: RH. Breaks at the letters into fluid arm action. High 3/4 slot release with arm speed out front.
