Then and Now

We have seen Beckwith over the years at Lakepoint but first got eyes on him in the showcase setting at Southeast Super Sophomore Games back in early August. Fast forward to the fall and he finished off his 2025 with us at the Fall Campus Tour Series at the University of North Georgia. His hitting numbers were up across the board, he went from a max exit velocity of 86.8 in August to 91.9 in October. His average exit velocity was up over 5mph. His max distance was up 75ft with the average distance going from 134ft to 214ft. He increased his his 60 from a 7.34 in August to 7.24 in October. Beckwith transferred to Bremen this offseason and looks to provide an instant imapct from day 1 with ability to stick anywhere in the lineup along with supplying lockdown defense up-the-middle as well.

Body: 5-10, 181-pounds.
Delivery: Quick mover and consistent delivery.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 Release with short arm action. Fastball displays cut-ride traits and works well up in the strike zone. Primary offering is a slider with true sweeper traits that's effective down in the zone. Changeup tunnels well off the true ride fastball that's deceptive.
FB: T74, 71-74 mph. T2023, 1945 average rpm.
SL: 61-63 mph. T1836, 1777 average rpm.
CH: 67-68 mph. T1736, 1602 average rpm.
ATH: 7.24 runner in the 60. 1.67 and 3.95 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 20.10 max vertical.

Hit: RHH. Front foot slightly closed off with toe-tap Really nice bat speed with easy gap-to-gap juice. Hitterish feel in the box. Fluid swing and generates loud carry of the barrel consistently. 63.9 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 81.7 mph. 301' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-74 mph. Good arm strength
Defense: Dynamic mover on the dirt; ability to get to baseballs comfortably in both pockets.
ATH: 7.24 runner in the 60. 1.67 and 3.95 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 20.10 max vertical.
