Week of 12/8/25

Drew Friday RHP / SS / Morristown, NJ / 2027

The Morristown High School junior made his Prep Baseball debut this fall at the NJ Fall Top Prospect Games. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher was a standout arm that had an impressive two innings of work. Friday flashed a two-pitch arsenal that consisted of a fastball and slider. The fastball sat 83-85 mph and peaked at 85.9 mph with up to 24 inches of induced vertical break. His slider was thrown at 74-78 mph with a tight and short break that maxed at -3.3 inches of horizontal movement. Friday’s tunneling of his pitches allows him to induce OZ whiffs and IZ takes. Intriguing right-hander to follow.

Drew Aromando RHP / OF / Verona High School, NJ / 2027

Aromando was a standout performer with the bat and off the mound at the NJ Fall Top Prospect Games. The 6-foot and 200-pound two-way prospect has a physical frame with more room for growth as he develops. He ran the quickest sixty of the event with a 6.95 sixty-yard dash and flashed some pop with a 97.7 mph max exit velocity. He also flashed a 90.6 mph average exit velocity and a max distance of 342 feet. Off the mound, Aromando showcased an 81-83.5 mph fastball that landed in the strike zone 86 percent of the time. His secondary pitches are a 68-71 mph slider and a 70-73 mph changeup. This two-way prospect is an intriguing athlete to follow this upcoming high school season.

Alex Vacula 1B / 3B / Wyoming Area Sec Ctr, PA / 2027

This hard hitting first baseman is from the Wilkes-Barre area and stands at 6-foot, 230-pounds. Over the winter, Vacula produced high-level hitting metrics that placed him as the second first baseman in the Keystone State. He has produced a max exit velocity of 100.9 mph, an average exit velocity of 92.9 mph, a max distance of 362 feet, and a sweet-spot percentage of 89 percent. Vacula hits from an upright starting position and utilizes a high leg-kick as his gather and gains ground moving forwards. He keeps his weight back while gaining ground and lands in a strong hitting position. He kept the bat flat throughout his swing and produced consistent hard-hit line drives and fly balls.

Davin Kolter RHP / Cedar Crest, PA / 2027

The Cedar Crest High School product is a right-handed pitcher with a physical frame of 6-foot-1 and 206-pounds. Kolter has flashed a high-level arsenal that consists of a 93-mph fastball, a curveball, and changeup. His fastball is typically 90-93 mph and is spun up to 2,500 rpm. He can also spin his curveball over 2,500 rpm while throwing it 79-80 mph. Kolter’s changeup is thrown firmly at 84-86 mph and has up to 16 inches of horizontal movement. His windup starts in a tall, upright position with the upper body in a strong position. He keeps his hands in an engaged position throughout the windup and explodes down the slope with some late acceleration.

Benjamin Sinsabaugh RHP / 1B / Minisink Valley, NY / 2027

Imposing 6-foot-6, 225-pound two-way prospect. Offensively, shows quick entry into the zone with 80 MPH bat speed and up to 30g rotational acceleration, producing a 102 MPH peak exit velocity, 91 MPH average, and 355-foot max distance. On the mound, works with an easy-effort delivery from a side 3/4 slot and demonstrates feel for all three pitches, with plenty more still in the tank.

Sebastian Espinal C / 1B / Citius Prep, NY / 2027

Power left-handed stroke. Explodes through the back hip with a whippy barrel through the zone, producing exit velocities up to 98 MPH with a 369-foot max distance.
