Oklahoma Class of 2029 Rankings: Initial Release
November 24, 2025
Prep Baseball Oklahoma is excited to release our initial rankings for the 2029 class as we list our top 20 players. Our first swing at ranking the Freshman class will be limited to players that we have seen at events or in person at tournaments over the past couple of years. As we are able to see more players from the class, the rankings will continue to evolve with new players entering, players rising, and prospects continuing to separate themselves from peers with increased development and physical maturity. With any rankings, numerous factors come into play such as (but not limited to) current skillset, present athleticism and strength, projectability, and rawness of physical ability measured through various metrics and technology. Development is never linear and will look different for each player so fluctuation in the rankings is inevitable, but we as a staff utilize the current information available to us to be as thorough as possible. We will continue to gather information, for some at the Varsity level as early as this spring, and look forward to seeing the 2029 class much more at events, in the spring, and on the summer circuit.
Today, we’ll take a closer look at various players with notes and video that put them at the top of the current class.
