UT Fall Top Prospects Games: Quick Hits - Outfielders
November 6, 2025
The Utah Fall Top Prospects Games took place on Saturday/Sunday, November 1-2 @ Utah Valley University. This event will feature a collection of promising prospects from Utah's 2026–2029 graduating classes, each aiming to display the progress they have made over the course of the busy Summer and Fall schedule.
The UT Fall TPG allowed our staff to evaluate prospects before the Winter offseason. The event served as an identifier for future invite-only events such as the Preseason All-State, Top Prospect Games, Future Games, and more.
Each participant received a full Prep Baseball profile update, including headshot, video, showcase statistics, and advanced data analysis. With profile access by more than 1000 college programs across the country, the event provided valuable exposure for players while offering an in-depth evaluation heading into the offseason.

OUTFIELDERS SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Jowell Dasni OF / 3B / Layton, UT / 2026Jowell exploded onto the Utah scene this Fall. He did a great job tagging PBR on social media posts the last few months, so I was eager to meet him and see it in person. One of the more impressive performances of the weekend, consider Jowell an absolute must follow. Physicality and confidence are apparent, and in the box you can see the tools that could carry him a long way in this game. Leading the weekend in EV (105) and matching that with in-game production and few loud barrels, I am eager to see who gives this kid a chance. They are getting a DUDE.

Ryder Sand OF / RHP / Riverton, UT / 2028Excellent showing from the Sophomore who I had been waiting to get the chance to see in person. The arm talent really stood out and impressed, leading the entire event in OF velo (90). He carries himself with confidence and at 6’ 165 lbs, I expect continued growth and maturation in an excellent HS program that will push him to improve. Offensively he showed signs of elite hit and power tool, flashing 96 EV and consistently in the upper 80s. Knack for timing and a swing that plays at a high level, I could see heavy Varsity contribution for Ryder this season on a loaded Riverton squad in 2026.

Daxton Davis OF / LHP / Mountain Ridge, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 67 / POS: 14
It’s not often a high caliber athlete/player goes under my radar, who also attends a big HS with a premier baseball program, but that was the case with Daxton for me. At 6’3 185 lbs, the potential is very exciting! The tools are present and will continue to mature and improve with time. Up to 84 both on the mound and from the OF, the arm talent and ability to carry the baseball is there now. Although he has an uncommon profile (Bat Right/Throw Left), I think it plays. During the BP portion of the workout he was hammering baseballs consistently, running it up to 102+ EV and showcased the ability to keep his hands inside and through the middle. Super intrigued by his weekend and will be looking forward to following his Spring season.

Eddie Bluth OF / RHP / Wasatch, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 51 / POS: 8
Consistent production and attitude are staples for Mr Bluth. I’ve had the chance to see a lot of Eddie this Summer and Fall, and love his ability to remain the same type of player no matter the situation or time of year. An underrated and often overlooked quality of a high level player, consistency. Eddie keeps his approach simple at the plate and displays a willingness to spray balls to all fields. Short, LH swing that will compete vs high velocity as well. A reliable player who can produce both offensively and defensively, he had an awesome weekend and should be a top of the order type player for Wasatch in 2026.

Yoshiki Schaugaard OF / Payson, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 100 / POS: 24
I had the chance to meet Yoshi at the UT Tribe Scout Day in August, where he dominated the workout. Immediately I knew I needed to see more and got him out to our Fall TPG this past weekend. Although he did not play baseball in Spring 2025, you wouldn’t know it based on his metrics or the eye test. He looks and plays the part of a solid Varsity player with potential to extend his career into college. At 5’11 183 lbs, his athleticism and physicality jump off the page. A 6.78 runner, up to 84 from the OF and flashing consistent barrel during BP with EV’s up to 99 and featuring a 90.1 avg. Repeatable swing with an ability to keep things simple. I really like what I’ve seen from Yoshi so far, and can’t wait to follow his Senior year.

Talon Page OF / 3B / Pleasant Grove, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 89 / POS: 19
Something we don’t hear about or discuss enough when talking OF play in prospects is the ability, or inability, to get “reads” off the bat in game. I’ve been fortunate enough to know Talon for the last few years and have gathered a large sample size of his defense in live game action, and it’s impressive. Excellent ability to match his first step with what his eyes see off the bat, and his speed gives him the range needed to play a high level CF. I’d like to see continued improvement with the arm strength to stay in CF, but the agility and first step could keep him there for years to come. Offensively he is a threat any time the ball is in play with an impressive 30 yard split (3.79). Simple swing with good bat to ball skills, I like what I see from Talon and expect him to play a crucial role for the Vikings this year.

Jaxon Rich OF / LHP / Riverton, UT / 2029Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 2
One of the top 2029s overall from the weekend has to be Jaxon Rich. Solid metrics all over the place, including 91 EV during BP with an 86 average, a 7.3 in the 60 and 78 off the mound. I have Jaxon in the top 10 in UT for the 2029 Class and for good reason. For just his 2nd PBR event, I was very impressed with his maturity at 14 years old (not turning 15 for 5 more months). He carried himself like he belonged on the field with some of the best players around, many of which much older. The moment was not too big and he really put together an excellent weekend. The L/L Freshman showed legit upside and potential that I will be closely monitoring moving forward! Don’t be shocked if he has some sort of a Varsity role this year..

Coulson Rich RHP / OF / Orem, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 63 / POS: 11
There has been a consistent theme with Coulson since I met him this Summer, physicality and strength. He looks the part and fills out the uniform, you wouldn’t be shocked if he was also a big time Football player. His mobility and agility are impressive considering the build. All metrics are above average, most notably his 60 and EV (6.92/104.9) marking him as a player that has to be on your radar as a college coach. The workout part of his game has me very intrigued, and I anxiously await the 2026 season so I can see if the production matches the output! If it does, watch out. A monster breakout Spring could be in the works.

Garrett Conover RHP / OF / Emery High, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 76 / POS: 13
Garrett showed very well this weekend both on the mound, at the plate and in the field. He approaches his game with game-like focus and intent, regardless of the moment whether it's a showcase, or Spring game for his HS. All of his numbers went up from our Salt Lake ID in September (96 EV/85 OF velo/7.1 60), further proving how committed to his craft he is. The motivation and dedication to his game are apparent. I had to almost remind him to smile and show the fun he was having, because he’s laser focused and living in the present. The type of player who will do whatever is needed to help his team win, I am fully expecting Garrett to lead Emery to a great year!

Dawson Ferguson OF / Westlake, UT / 2027Huge shoutout to a Utah HS coach who texted me about Dawson a couple of weeks prior to our TPG this past weekend. I had never had the chance to see him, or really know who he was until that text. I realized he requested an invite and with the recommendation from that coach, I accepted. Man was I happy that he came out! Arguably the most production of the entire event during the game play on Sunday, Dawson went 3/3 including an opposite field triple and 2 singles. He keeps things really simple at the plate and has sneaky pop to all fields. With excellent bat to ball skills and a humble approach to the game, I really liked what I saw from the Westlake Junior and expect a breakout campaign in 2026.
