Ryan Castetter 2B / RHP / UTL / University High School of Indiana, IN / 2026+ Taking over as the top-ranked uncommitted prospect in the state after recently decommitting from Pepperdine. Athletic-framed utility-type that stands at 6-foot, 190-pounds. Above-average run tool (6.83 60) and body control, profiles all across the diamond, fits best as 2B/LF-type, though has the arm strength (92 mph) to grow into a 3B frame and could also end up in CF/RF. The bat plays in-game, simple right-handed stroke that works direct with quality length through the front of the zone. Above-average impacts, showcase exits reached 99 mph in the winter of 2025. Career .352 hitter at University with 34 extra-base hits. Also holds upside on the bump as a RHP, rumored into the upper-80s and higher, saw plenty to like of him on the mound as an underclassman... |
Harrison Haq RHP / St Theodore Guerin High School, IN / 2026+ Now stands as the top-ranked arm still available in the class. Sturdy/strong 6-foot-3, 230-pounder. Works downhill/in-line with a fastball that sits in the mid-to-upper 80s and touches 90 mph. Shows feel for above-average spin that plays in the mid-to-upper 70s, will flash a low-80s change with depth as well. |
Riley Matlock C / Southport High School, IN / 2026+ Strong, 5-foot-11, 185-pound backstop who has a strong track record of hitting. Has put together a couple strong seasons for Southport HS, while also finding success on the summer circuit in 2025. Boasts showcase exits near triple digits, with a 6.93 60 time to pair. Above average thrower with solid average receiving ability behind the dish. Projects to be a middle of the order type bat at the next level. |
Ben Pickering RHP / Jefferson High School, IN / 2026+ Physical, 6-foot-1, 225-pound right-hander with advanced arm strength, fastball has reached 92 in showcase on a couple different occasions. Arsenal includes a mid 70s SL and upper 70s CH, as well. Doubles as a RHH C with the arm strength translating to the crouch, along with some bat strength at the dish.

Dennis (DJ) Malloy SS / RHP / Valparaiso, IN / 2026+ True two-way type prospect who provides a steady presence in the MIF and on the bump. Arm is his best tool, reaching 89 across the diamond along with consistent mid-80s velos on the hill. Short, fast arm provides some deception - backspins the fastball well to induce carry and play it above its velocity. Spins a sharp slider in the mid-70s and will show an upper-70s change, as well. Offensively, has been 97-plus off the bat with a shorter, quick swing that plays more with a line drive approach in-game. |
Luke Goben OF / Andrean, IN / 2026+ Compact, athletic 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame with well-proportioned strength. Goben shows a balanced, connected operation from the left side — short stride, tight hand load, and a fast, on-plane bat that consistently produces quality contact to all fields. There’s sneaky strength in the barrel with a 94 mph exit, pointing to gap-to-gap impact that should continue to tick up as he matures. A 6.85 runner whose speed plays even better in game — covering ground efficiently with clean routes and instincts in the outfield. |
Nolan Schickel OF / Evansville Mater Dei, IN / 2026+ Wiry, 6-foot-1, 160-pound outfielder from Evansville with a hit tool that has stood out over the course of looks the past two years. Short, direct stroke includes twitch that leads to some gap power, more on the way likely with added strength. Led Mater Dei to a 2A State Championship appearance in 2025, maintaining a north-of .300 average with 10 XBH. At least an above average runner with a chance for that tool to tick to plus down the road. |
David Pina C / Fishers High School, IN / 2026+ One of, if not the best, receiver amongst the group of uncommitted catchers on our board. Soft hands with athletic/mobile hips, throws at an above average clip as well (80 mph from crouch 3/3/24). Holds present strength in a compact, 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. Offensively, Pina shows bat speed with above average impact in his right-handed swing. Maintains rhythm throughout the operation with easy above average contact skills. |
Colton Watts RHP / William Henry Harrison High School, IN / 2026+ Watts offers a unique, over-the-top arm slot that helps to create ride on an upper-80s fastball that we've had up to 89. His mid-70s curveball works top-to-bottom to play off the high-ride heater and his 79-80 CH offers big arm-side tilt and run. Higher-intent operation with some quirk to the arm action. Outlier slot and hulking, 6-foot-4, 205 lb frame stand out most as he profiles as a tough-look RP. |
Tyler Hughes 2B / Zionsville Community High School, IN / 2026+ Utility-type that carries a strong LH hit tool which leads the profile. Short, direct swing with plenty of barrel feel. 6.95 runner in June, that tool plays a tick higher between the lines. Hit .313 for Zionsville last spring with 6 2B, 6 3B, and 1 HR. Profiles best as a bat-first 2B/LF type. |
Jack Levin LHP / Jasper, IN / 2026+ Now the top uncommitted left-hander in the class, Levin has built a reputation of in-game success for Jasper, most recently helping them to the 3A State FInals in 2025 after posting a 5-2 record as a junior, including a sub-2 ERA with 49 strikeouts (to 19 BB) in 40+ IP. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder shows athleticism within a clean operation, reaching into the mid-80s with a fastball to go along with a low-70s CB and mid-70s CH. |
Landon Hughes OF / 1B / Cathedral High School, IN / 2026+ 6-foot-2, 210-pounder that projects as a potential middle of the order bat at the next level. LHH has recorded exits that peaked at 101.5 mph in showcase. Rotational-type swing that will flash power in-game. Solid abv-avg athlete, 7-flat runner, that profiles best in RF with an 88 mph OF arm. |
Jet Dutton SS / Andrean High School, IN / 2026+ Athletic, 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with present strength and room to continue developing, is also young for the grad class indicating that growth is more likely. Right-handed hitter with a simple, on-top swing and line-drive approach. Posted quality stats for 3A State Champs as a junior; hit .357 while reaching base at a near-.500 clip. Likely steps up as the everyday SS for Andrean as a senior, saw plenty of time there when Mason Barth pitched last season, played 2B otherwise. Has the feet/hands to stick up the middle, pairs an 85 mph arm across. Good athlete/runner; 6.89 in the 60 last summer. |
Braxton Cline SS / Goshen High School, IN / 2026+ The star of Goshen's big playoff run in 2025, now stands as a top three uncommitted shortstop in the state. Named 4A All-State at SS in 2025; batted .425 with 12 doubles, 5 triples, and a pair of homers. Also boasted a 16/7 BB/K while picking it at a .960 clip at short. Glove is best tool, plays well-paced on the dirt with feel and the body control of a next-level MIF. Bat works on a more short/direct plane. Has not updated showcase metrics since fall of 2024. |
Wes Kelley OF / Evansville Memorial, IN / 2026+ Lean, wiry, athletic, 6-foot, 155 pounder. Feet are best tool with recorded 6.57 60-yard dash this summer; gets down the line really well to apply pressure. Hits from a tall setup with short forward move and loose, handsy swing. Adjustability stands out with present bat-to-ball skills while the swing plays with a contact-type, slappy approach. Looks the part of a burner LHH CF that is able to impact the game with his feet. |
Clay Austin LHP / Floyd Central High School, IN / 2026+ Sturdy-framed, 6-foot, 200 lb lefty out of Southern Indiana. Clean, polished delivery with a looser, quick arm on the backside. Served as a SP for the Highlanders last spring with a chance to start at the next level. Fastball plays in the low-to-mid 80s in-game and reached 85 mph in showcase. Spins it well; low-70s CB & SL, both abv avg pitches in their own regards. His 75-77 split plays with later dive to round out a solid four-pitch mix. |
Francisco Javier Martinez Uscanga RHP / Columbus North, IN / 2026+ All of 6-foot, 175-pounds with clean, polished movement patterns within the delivery. Stands as a top five uncommitted right-hander in the state. Fastball works in the mid-80s on a consistent basis, touching 87.5 mph in showcase, as the arm works with some length and looseness to a 3/4 slot. Shapes a low-70s sweeper well and that pitch still holds upside with further development, while also offering a split/change in the mid-70s. |
Mekyel Almond C / Mccutcheon High School, IN / 2026+ Boasts compact strength & twitch within a 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame. Flashes bat speed within a quick, athletic, right-handed stroke. Showcase exits round to 95 mph; shows above average bat and hand speed as well. Best trait is his arm, can flat out throw behind the dish, up to 85 mph from the chute in showcase for pops ranging from 1.85-1.95. Top three uncommitted catcher in the class as our list is set to update. Solid average receiving abilities shown in our follows. 7.05 runner. |
Max Grundberg 3B / Culver Academies, IN / 2026+ One of the top performers at this year's Indiana Fall State Games amongst the uncommitted '26 crowd. From Fall State Games 2025 Quick Hits : From the left side, he hits from a pre-coiled base with a short inward turn and heavier move forward, creating a clean, on-plane path with noticeable bat speed. The swing produces consistent line-drive contact with leverage to the pull side — reaching 97 mph exit velocity and 352 feet of carry, while also showing off those abilities during the gameplay portion of this event. A 7.01 runner who plays faster in-game, Grundberg brings easy above-average abilities to both sides of the ball. 5-foot-10, 175-pound infielder with body control and steady presence on the dirt. Shows sure hands with proper footwork, pairing with an 85 mph arm across.
Logan Dilley OF / Valparaiso, IN / 2026+ Lean, 6-foot-2, 165-pound outfielder with standout athleticism and loud tools across the board. Dilley’s 6.65 sixty translates easily to the field, showing gliding movements and confident strides in the outfield with a loose, above-average arm that reaches 85 mph. Offensively, he hits from the right side with a short, direct stroke that delivers sneaky impact now and projects for more as he continues to fill out. Posted a 97 mph max exit velocity with an athletic, balanced operation that suggests future power upside. |
