Picks to Click

2027 Graduates

Jonah Lam OF / 2B / Clackamas High School, OR / 2027

Clackamas may enter 2026 as one of the better rosters in Oregon, anchored by a deep and talented pitching staff. Lam will be a critical piece for the Cavaliers offensively, and he could be poised for a big step forward in his game heading into his junior spring. Lam was already manning centerfield and hitting leadoff for Clackamas for much of his sophomore season, fitting perfectly with his athletic, contact-oriented profile. The righty ran a sub-7 second 60 time and showcased a smooth swing in his most recent Prep Baseball showcase. As he enters his upperclassman years, expect Lam to lean on his exprience and continue to impact the game in all facets.

Kye Leenders 1B / LHP / Tualatin, OR / 2027

Leenders impressed both on the mound and offensively at last winter's PNW Preseason All-State, showcasing a real ability to move well in a 6'1, 200 pound frame. Leenders' showcase was highlighted by a 6.79 60-yard dash time and mid-90's exit velocities, in addition to a three pitch mix on the mound. The lefty went on to take a majority of the first base reps in the spring for Tualatin, hitting in the 5/6 hole as a power threat. With the graduation of a couple of key seniors, Leenders could propel himself higher in the batting order with a strong offseason. The lefty could also contribute on the mound with continued development. Leenders' dynamic profile makes him a player Prep Baseball scouts will certainly be keeping an eye on.

Ryan Gresham C / RHP / Sunset, OR / 2027

Defending 6A state champion Sunset High School will have several new faces that will need to contribute at the varsity level, and Gresham is a player Prep Baseball is circling as a potential option. The C/RHP showcased some encouraging growths in his game from last winter to this October's PNW Fall Games, with a best exit velocity of 91 MPH and a catcher pop time of 2.03 seconds. The righthanded bat stays within himself and catches the ball out front consistently, lifting the ball with a smoother one-handed finish. On the mound, Gresham ran his FB into the low 80's in a shorter stint for strikes at his best. With a strong offseason, look for Gresham to be a mainstay in a new-look Sunset side next season.
