Quick Hits
Trey Windham, OF, North Forsyth, 2026
Uncommitted. The North Forsyth OF put together a standout showing across the board and was arguably one of the biggest winners of the event. Lean and athletic at 6-foot-0, 170-pounds, Windham exudes twitch at the plate. The RHH displayed present barrel feel and bat speed alike in a potent round of BP. Controlled violence and created excellent leverage to the pull-side that generated consistent loud exits (Max EV 99.7, Avg. EV 91.9, Max Distance 358ft.). Windham put together an electric showing in gameplay as he produced a 4-for-4 showing with everything coming off the bat loud including a pull-side double. Showed the ability to sync up extremely well and create tremendous length in-zone as the barrel stays in the zone forever in a mature all-fields approach. Also posted one of the top OF velos on the day at 90 MPH with good routes to the ball, solid footwork, and present arm strength. Windham looks poised for a breakout senior campaign after missing all of last year and remains one of the top uncommitted ‘26s in the state.

Casper Emory, OF, Clarke Central, 2027
Uncommitted. The barrel was extremely potent for Emory in a potent round of BP as he consistently hammered baseballs to the pull-side. Physical and broad-shouldered at 5-foot-10, 194-pounds, Emory is armed with loads of strength throughout. The RHH is extremely well-leveraged through the zone and generates significant carry to the pull-side as he hit a total of three home runs across BP. Posted a Max EV of 98.8 and a Max Distance of 378ft. Emory would also find the barrel in gameplay as well. As he drove one deep into centerfield for a ground-rule double. Controlled intent with violent hands in-zone stand out and excellent feel for the barrel. Tons of strength in the lower half and stays balanced through the zone as he creates easy carry to all-fields. Also showed well in the OF with athletic actions throughout and arm strength present (85 OF Velo). Emory looks poised for a breakout junior campaign and is a must know uncommitted name heading into the Spring.

Ryan Johansen, MIF, Buford, 2027
Uncommitted. The Buford middle infielder has been a favorite amongst staff over the years and showed out in all facets on Saturday. Present hand/bat speed with innate barrel feel showed up in a loud round of BP (Max EV 95.1, Avg. EV 90.4, Sweet Spot % at 89 %). Johansen does a great job of staying compact through the zone with fluid hands and strong bat-to-ball skills from a LH cut. Showed off a polished approach at the dish with a 3-for-3 performance across gameplay. Pitch recognition stood out with great balance and feel for the zone. The actions in the dirt stand out for Johansen as well with a chance to stick up-the-middle long-term. Plenty of athleticism with bouncy athletic actions, lateral quickness, soft hands, and present arm strength. It’s a high floor profile for Johansen that can help Buford win in a multitude of ways this upcoming spring. Uncommitted name to know.

Buck Shepherd, 3B/OF, West Laurens, 2029
One of the biggest winners amongst staff throughout the event was the West Laurens freshman. Stands a stout 6-foot-0, 203-pounds and carries immense strength throughout. Shepherd possesses a potent LH cut with above-average bat speed (80.7 MPH) and feel for the barrel alike in a loud round of BP (Max EV 97.2, Max Distance 380ft.). Stays well-balanced and creates easy leverage through the zone in a heavy pull-side approach. Put together really good at-bats and found the barrel multiple times in gameplay as well. Shepherd is going to be a must follow this spring and has the chance to be a name to know in the class in due time.

JD Floyd, 1B/LHP, Pope, 2029
It was an impressive showing for Floyd across the entirety of the event. Stands a lean 6-foot-2, 166-pounds, Floyd exudes excellent body control from a LH swing. Compact path and shows great adjustability in the hands with ability to manipulate the barrel to find consistent contact throughout the zone. Produced a Max EV of 92.2 in BP with plenty more strength to project upon as he matures physically. Carried it over into gameplay as he looked the part against some strong arms. Laced a single back into centerfield in his first at-bat and then facing a tough L/L matchup he drove one deep into centerfield for a standup double. On the mound, Floyd moves well down the mound with present strength in the lower half followed by a quick arm from a compact arm action. Fastball sat 77-79 and changeup tunneled effectively off it at 70-74 with late tumble and feel to consistently land it at the bottom of the zone. Curveball created good depth and kept hitters off-balance at 65-68. It’s a strong profile for Floyd who has a chance to make an early impact with Pope this upcoming Spring.
Really good hacks taken from 2029 1B JD Floyd across gameplay with a pair of knocks here.

Chase Alonso, RHP/SS, Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, 2028
Chase Alonso put together a standout day on both sides of the ball. During his BP session, he operates with a controlled toe-tap, getting into good rhythm in the box showing swift hand speed through contact. His upward swing path generated vicious results, especially to the pull-side (Mav EV of 96.8 MPH). Got some work on the dirt too, as he's an athletic mover with good footwork; displaying good range to both sides with quick transfers the ball out of the glove swiftly and excellent arm action (event best 91 MPH INF velo). On the mound, Alonso tossed two shutout innings in game play, displaying an athletic delivery and lively arm action while effectively hiding the ball from hitters. Working from a 6-foot-3 frame, he attacked with two fastballs, a four-seam sitting 87-89 with life and a sinker at the same velocity featuring late arm-side run, both of which produced plenty of in-zone whiffs. His primary offspeed offering was a mid-70s slider with late sweep that gave right-handers fits, complemented by a low-80s changeup that played well against lefties. With his intriguing two-way potential and upside, Alonso is poised to be a name that steadily rises on our in-state board.

Tristan Arrowood, RHP/SS, Villa Rica, 2027
Uncommitted. It was a confident and exciting performance for the junior from Villa Rica. Offensively, Arrowood showcased a flat barrel through the zone that consistently produced loud contact, staying connected with his upper and lower half throughout the swing. He tracked pitches up in the zone well and displayed solid rhythm at the plate. Defensively, Tristan moved well with intriguing arm strength on the dirt, showing the ability to field balls cleanly on either side while maintaining a firm, repeatable arm action. On the mound, Arrowood impressed in relief with smooth mechanics and a quick arm down the slope. His fastball featured ride traits, sitting 84–86 with high spin and carry through the zone that effectively missed barrels on both sides of the plate. He sprinkled in a mid-70s knuckleball that kept right-handers off balance, along with two breaking balls; a mid-70s slider with gyro action and a low-70s curveball with depth that played well at the bottom of the zone.

Mark Sanchez, C, Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, 2028
A lot to like given what we saw from the sophomore catcher. Sanchez impressed during BP, working with a level stance and showing the ability to consistently get the barrel out front and drive balls gap-to-gap with authority. Creates some leverage and tilt through the zone to all fields, maintaining a smooth rhythm while staying well connected throughout his swings. Behind the dish, Sanchez showed solid defensive skills with good arm strength and clean receiving actions from a level crouch position. His instincts and mobility stood out, as did his ability to block effectively and control the running game. During gameplay, Mark made multiple impacts, throwing out two runners and adding a ground-rule double to extend his team’s lead late in the game. Bound to be a compelling follow over the coming summers, look for Sanchez to break out this coming spring and lead a fun pitching staff in North Georgia.

Brantley Willis, RHP, Pierce County, 2028
Exciting outing on the mound for the sophomore, who displayed real potential. Willis featured a fastball with ride traits sitting 86-87 mph and touching 88 twice, showing good feel up in the zone from a three-quarter release. He attacks hitters with assertive arm action from an appealing 6-foot-2 frame and occasionally mixes in a low-70s sweeper that gives right-handers trouble. His comfortable and durable mechanics emphasize planting the back leg and driving through the lower half. Brantley got the start during gameplay, tossing two innings and recording three punchouts. Anticipate Willis to be a key contributor for Pierce County this spring and looks poised to gain traction with Five Star next summer.

Ollie Tingelhoff, OF/RHP, Jackson County, 2026
Uncommitted. Ollie Tingelhoff has consistently performed over the years, and he carried that same success into Saturday’s action. From the left side of the plate, he showcased an upward bat path that produced loud contact to all fields. Ollie stays well connected and balanced throughout his swing while generating violent bat speed with an easy, smooth finish. In the outfield, he displayed clean actions with intriguing arm speed and quick exchanges (88 mph OF velo). Tingelhoff also impressed on the mound, coming in for relief and tossing a scoreless inning racking up two strikeouts. Works efficiently with controlled mechanics down the slope as well as intriguing arm action. He attacked hitters with an 83-85 fastball that filled up the zone, complemented by a low-70s slider with downward tilt and sweep traits, as well as a mid-70s changeup that paired effectively off the heater. Look for Ollie to be a middle of the order bat and a big arm for Jackson County come spring, poised to make a statement for his senior season.

Jaylen Seabrooks, OF, Georgia Premier, 2027
Uncommitted. Talk about a fun showing, that’s exactly what Jaylen Seabrooks did this past weekend. He really impressed our staff with his offensive showing, getting into a smooth rhythm with his hands through the load and showing obvious wrist strength and violent hand speed that produced loud contact, especially pull-side. Defensively, he looked the part with athletic actions, intriguing arm speed, and excellent positional instincts, getting the ball out quickly and keeping baseballs on line (event best 93 MPH OF velo). During gameplay, he showcased his athleticism with a pair of diving catches in the outfield and added a triple to the backside in his first at-bat. He’s certainly a name to circle within a stout Georgia Premier lineup, featuring a dynamic profile with good feel to hit and the type of skill set that would elevate any collegiate recruiting class.
2027 OF/SS Jaylen Seabrooks stays compact and fires this into RCF for a 3B.

Cash Unruh, C, Rabun-Gap Nacoochee School, 2026
Uncommitted. Unruh shows a mature approach at the plate with a strong foundation in both swing mechanics and strike-zone discipline. His stance is balanced and athletic, setting up slightly open with relaxed hands that allow him to get into his load smoothly. He creates good separation between his upper and lower half, generating controlled hip rotation that helps him stay on plane through the zone. The swing is compact with an uphill bat path designed for line-drive contact to the gaps. He rarely rushes and looks comfortable adjusting mid-swing, especially with off-speed pitches. He tracks spin well and demonstrates a patient approach, not expanding the zone and consistently working into hitter’s counts. Definitely one scouts should be watching in this 2026 class.

Ryan Castillo, 2B, Rabun-Gap Nacoochee School, 2028
Castillo presents as a hitter with a fundamentally sound offensive approach and clear developmental upside. At the plate, he shows a balanced and athletic stance with quiet, controlled pre-pitch movement. His setup allows him to get into his lower half efficiently, giving him the ability to stay grounded and connected through contact. Castillo’s swing path is short and direct to the baseball, with a level bat plane that produces consistent line-drive contact. Defensively, he had a max INF velo of 82 and in the game showed his ability to play his position very well making multiple highlight plays. Castillo also got on the bump where he showcased his 82.4 max FB velo with 2286rpm and breaking off an effective SL.

Jayden Bloodworth, SS/3B, Eastside, 2028
Bloodworth brings a confident and athletic presence in the batter’s box, showcasing a loose, natural swing that comes off the bat clean. He starts from a relaxed, upright stance with a small, efficient load that keeps his head quiet and allows him to see the baseball deep. His hands work freely through the zone, producing a smooth, controlled bat path that generates consistent hard contact. The switch hitter showed that he could drive the ball consistently to all fields from both sides of the plate. He showed the ability to drive pitches that are on the outer half of the plate without rolling over. He has the tools to be a tough out in any lineup and a hitter who can produce both average and timely extra-base hits.
2028 SS/3B Jayden Bloodworth consistently performs with each look.

Frank Knowles III, OF/RHP, Greater Atlanta Christian, 2029
An impressive performance from the dual-sport freshman who has made immense strides since the first time we saw him in January. Lean muscle added throughout the 5-foot-11, 166-pound frame with still plenty of projectability to bet on. The BP round was night and day from what we saw at East Georgia Rising Stars, adding real bat speed and intent in an on-plane path. Hammered balls to the pull-side consistently throughout the round with the added strength showing well. Knowles made significant jumps in both average (85.6) and max (90.9) exit velocities with room to continue to grow into even more as he develops. Outfield actions continue to get better, using quality footwork and efficient routes with arm strength that is ever growing. Really looked the part as an impact player going forward in the 2028 class and will be a name to watch this upcoming spring.

Maddox Nuckols, SS/RHP, Augusta Christian, 2028
We got a chance to see Nuckols over the same, and the progression since has really impressed. The metrics were up across the board with 12mph increase in his average exit velocity during BP. The velo was up 3mph across the infield and translated right to the mound up to 86.1. Nuckols is really athletic and moves well across the diamond. The arm really works on the mound with feel for spin, and quick tempo that really keeps hitters on their toes.
