TOTT FASTBALL 

Nebraska - Nebraska’s Class of 2027 is loaded with arms that can light up the radar gun and challenge hitters with movement and deception. In this edition of Tools of the Trade, we break down the top fastballs in the state, highlighting velocity, spin, movement, and release profiles. From high-spin, high-carry fastballs to pitchers who generate late life with unique arm angles, these rising arms are ones to watch as they continue their journey toward the next level.


Andrew Jackson RHP / 3B / Southwest High School, NE / 2027


A broad-shouldered, athletic build with a fastball that reached 90 mph last spring. Maxes out at 19.5 inches of vertical break with a 5.2 ft release height and over 2400 rpm, giving him one of the highest-carry fastballs in Nebraska’s 2027 class.
