This series aims to highlight standout performers at our top invite-only 2025 PNW State Games event. Prep Baseball spotlights aim to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. Today, we spotlight '27 INF/OF Ryan Judge. The versatile junior out of Puyallup High School impressed at the top invite-only PNW event this summer.
A 6'0, 170 pound prospect, Judge's showcases this year were highlighted by exit velocities into the low 90's and 84 MPH throws from the outfield. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from previous looks.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP Prospect with the chance to develop line drive gap-to-gap contact, fundamental fielder with a quality arm.
Body: 5-11, 160-pounds. Lanky, athletic frame
Hit: RHH. Tall stance, considerable bend in legs but knees not all the way down to 90 degrees. Chin just behind front shoulder. Feet just beyond shoulder width apart. Top of bat pointed at 3rd base coaches box. Intent to block front leg at swing contact. Bring weight on back leg during load ~80-20 dispertion. Weight comes forward on front side during swing as stride is being made. 64.5 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 83.7 mph. 300' max distance.
Arm: RH. Scap loads, gets power behind throw, uses whole body. Lead leg blocks, low 3/4 arm slot.
Defense: Sound pre-pitch/fielding process footwork mechanics, glove out in front of body when fielding, throwing arm down out in front as well. Really loads up his body before pulling down on throws. Similar sound mechanics, arm slot, etc. from outfield position.
ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60.
