Minnesota - As we head into 2026, Prep Baseball Minnesota took an in-depth look at the numbers collected from our events throughout the past year. 2025 was an outstanding year as we continued our mission to help players across the state reach the next level—providing a platform to showcase their abilities and be seen by college programs nationwide. More than 900 colleges and professional teams subscribe to Prep Baseball’s services.
Today we look at the top uncommitted position player talent from the classes of 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029.
BEST UNCOMMITTED CLASS OF 2026

Keaton Coe SS / Andover High School, MN / 2026Rankings StateRank: 19 / POS: 7
A gamer is one way to describe Coe, who was a Future Games participant two summers ago. He is athletic enough to play all three infield spots and brings valuable roster versatility. With a balanced mix of speed, arm strength, and pop in the bat, Coe remains one of the top uncommitted prospects in the class. |

Chase Bjorgaard OF / RHP / Edina, MN / 2026Rankings StateRank: 40 / POS: 7
A three sport athlete, Bjorgaard is one of the most well-rounded position players in the 2026 group. His consistency has taken a big jump across the board, and he plays at a high level, which helped earn him a Future Games selection two summers ago. |

Cooper Caligiuri C / RHP / Mounds View Senior High, MN / 2026Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 7
A dual position bat who offers strong roster flexibility, Caligiuri is an intriguing uncommitted name. He carries an athletic build, plus arm strength, and quality catch and throw skills behind the plate. With strength in the barrel and a mid to upper 80s fastball on the mound, the top remaining backstop on the board can impact the game in multiple ways. |
BEST UNCOMMITTED CLASS OF 2027

Ty Beck OF / OF / Farmington High School, MN / 2027Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 1
A Future Games participant last summer and the top uncommitted bat and outfielder in the class, Beck sits ninth in the 2027 rankings. He has good size for a corner outfielder, and his left-handed swing is more contact-oriented at present, with room for added power down the line. Beck is also a two sport athlete in football and baseball. |

Gavin Griffin OF / RHP / Perham Senior High, MN / 2027Rankings StateRank: 17 / POS: 2
Griffin has taken clear steps forward over the last 12 to 18 months, earning an invite to last summer's Future Games. At 6-foot-2 and 181 pounds, he has the athleticism to play all three outfield spots. Physical growth has led to improved metrics including a 6.76 sixty, 86 mph arm strength, and 96 mph exit velocity. |

Kalin Jochum 3B / OF / Chaska High School, MN / 2027Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 2
A corner outfielder and infielder, Jochum brings positional versatility along with a strong physical profile. He participated in the Future Games last summer and continues to show raw but promising tools. His athletic ability and size suggest more development ahead. |

The top ranked bat in the 2028 class, Semans offers an above average blend of speed and power. He played full time this spring for one of the state's top programs. A Super Sophomore invite with a 6.82 sixty, 88 mph infield arm, and 102 mph exit velocity, Semans is only beginning to tap into his potential. |

Ranked third in the class, Rentas has plenty to like in his game. He is an athletic backstop with a strong arm and plays a premium position at a high level. A Junior Future Games and Super Sophomore participant, he continues to show why he is one of the top prospects in the 2028 group. |

One of the top athletes in the class and possibly one of the top overall athletes in the state, Page brings rare versatility. He has played infield, outfield, and catcher at high levels and has been seen up to the upper 80s on the mound. A multi sport athlete, Page continues to develop and projects as a high level player in the 2028 class. |

Holden Semans OF / SS / Blaine, MN / 2029Rankings OverallRank: 63 / POS: 15
One of the top bats in the 2029 class, Semans has a long and lean frame with plenty to like offensively. The left-handed hitter already shows impressive pop for his age, posting exit velocities in the low 90s last March. He is a young bat worth keeping close tabs on. |
