Then and Now

Deuce Green first kicked off his Prep Baseball event cycle at Rising Stars Preseason All-State and ultimately earned a Junior Future Games bid in July. We now got eyes on Green at "The Dream Scout Day" back in late October. Showed out across the board but the physicaility in the box really stood out. As he went from a max exit velocity of 80.0 in March to 86.9 in July and now 92.0 in October. The actions on the mound stand out as well as he moves well down the mound with present strength in the lower half and fills up the zone with feel for a 4-pitch mix. Fastball jumped up in 2MPH of progression from 76 MPH in March to 78 MPH in July. Green holds the type of gamer profiles that you look for in a freshman entering High School and has a chance to carve out a role this Spring.
