TOP PITCHING PROSPECTS
1. Connor Chanley, St Joseph High School (CA), 2027
Positional Profile: SS/RHP Projectable two-way with present strength, repeatable arm actions on both sides, and emerging power at the plate.
Body: 6-3, 168-pounds. Lengthy frame with strength present, plenty of projection left as the body continues to mature and add size.
Delivery: Operates solely from the stretch with a medium leg kick, loads heavily onto the back leg, and drives downhill with a long, controlled stride.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action with full effort from a high three-quarter slot, generating whip and extension.
FB: T89, 86-88 mph. Hard FB with above-average spin efficiency, giving it ride through the zone and late arm-side life. T2474, 2294 average rpm.
CB: 74-76 mph. High-spin, downer CB with a true 12–6 shape. Heavy vertical drop with minimal horizontal movement makes it an effective chase pitch. T2326, 2303 average rpm.
SL: 73-75 mph. High-spin, sweeping SL with both downward tilt and lateral bite. Works well off the FB, breaking late toward the glove side. T2303, 2256 average rpm.
CH: 80-82 mph. Tumbling CH with late arm-side run and modest ride. T1743, 1686 average rpm.
