2025 Prep Baseball Scout Day: SC Lowcountry Trackman Pitching Leaders
November 5, 2025
The SC Lowcounty Scout Day was held on October 30th at Ashley Ridge High School in Summerville, SC.
The event kicked off with a full pro-style workout for all position players, which included the 60-yard dash, batting practice featuring TrackMan ball flight analysis, a defensive evaluation, and concluded with pitcher bullpens with each pitch tracked by TrackMan.

Effective velocity is taking into account the velocity of each pitch, its release distance, the pitches time to the plate / hitting area, and the pitches movement. With all of this information, Effective Velocity is allowing coaches and scouts to more accurately compare how a pitch is affecting a hitter.
