📈RANKINGS RISERS 📈
|
Dawson Moore SS / 2B / Provo, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 4
Dawson comes from a family of baseball, including two older brothers who starred at Provo High and excelled in College. His IQ and maturity at this age set him apart from a lot of his peers, but his skills and player profile make him a Top 20 player for the Class. Smooth hands and feet up the middle with natural defensive actions, combined with a fluid left-handed stroke that flashes more power than expected. A true gap to gap hitter with plenty of in-game production, keep Dawson on your must follow list moving forward.

Hudson Wright SS / 2B / Dixie, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 19 / POS: 7
Hudson is coming off an impressive Freshman campaign for the Flyers, and stands to make another heavy contribution in 2026. He really showcased well this Fall at our Super Sophomore Games at University of Oregon, flashing quick twitch tools and a visible competitive energy. The athleticism combined with a frame that has plenty of room for added growth, make Hudson one of the more intriguing prospects in the Class.

Cohen Nelson SS / RHP / Spanish Fork, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 9
Cohen continues to show steady growth and improvement, every time we get a chance to see him. A true two way talent that right now, is hard to project which skills will take him the furthest, but he won’t need to pick anytime soon or until after High School. The right hander sits in the low 80s with heavy ASR and a quality 3 pitch mix. Reminds me of college Joe Kelly at times with his mound presence and competitive fire, but shows maturity and control simultaneously. A strong athlete with a relentless work ethic, I expect continued growth and a monster year in 2026.

Kingston McCloud C / RHP / Maple Mountain, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 29 / POS: 9
Kingston made the biggest jump up the rankings this time around, going from unranked to cracking our Top 30. Elite, physical tools are the theme here. He flashed a FB in the upper 80s T90 at our Fall Top Prospects Games, along with 84 behind the plate, a 6.95 60 and 97+ EV. The metrics are off the board, but are still raw to this point. If King can hone in the skillset with the tools he possesses, watch out. Fortunately, he plays in one of the top programs in the State and will likely blossom into a top player sooner rather than later.

|
Bode Petersen C / 2B / Viewmont, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 33 / POS: 10
Even though Bode played Football the entire Fall, he made it a priority to attend a couple of our events to keep himself on the radar. At the Super Sophomore Games in Oregon, he did not show many signs of rust and put together an overall productive weekend. Pop time at 1.99 with clean footwork and exchanges to throws on the bag. At 6’ 160 lbs with an athletic, projectable frame, Bode promotes real intrigue and someone you should continue following throughout his career.

|
Tait Caldwell 1B / RHP / Bountiful, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 39 / POS: 3
Hitters hit, and that’s what Tait does. He continues to produce on the field from the box, whether inside a BP round or at a tournament. I see the confidence continuing to grow and his fluid, repeatable left-handed stroke provides a consistent display of production. He keeps the approach simple and shows true ability to drive both gaps on a line. The strength needs to continue to improve in order to see his full potential realized offensively, but the hit tool could take him a long way if the trajectory stays upward.

|
Dylan Chambers OF / 2B / Spanish Fork, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 40 / POS: 6
Dylan showed well this Fall at our Super Sophomore Games at the University of Oregon, putting up personal bests in every major category. He shows a strong sense of barrel awareness and timing, plus bat to ball skills and simple approach that he keeps through the middle of the field from the left side. As he matures physically and develops within a premier program, don’t be shocked if the trend continues upward and he makes a Varsity impact soon.

|
Broxton Purser LHP / OF / Ridgeline, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 54 / POS: 3
Broxton had a breakout Fall starting at our Northern UT ID in September, and ending in November at our Top Prospects Games. The 6’2 160 lb frame provides real intrigue for the Sophomore left hander. There is present strength and you could see added growth over the next couple years while maintaining his skillset. He moves well for his age and size, putting up a 7.05 in the 60 while also flashing some power in the box. The upside is there and with the pitching tool now, he could play a Varsity role for Ridgeline who competes deep into May every year.

|
Beckham Black 1B / RHP / Juan Diego Catholic, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 57 / POS: 5
Beckham made his debut onto the PBR scene at our Fall Top Prospects Games last month at UVU. Strong rounds of BP and present strength in the frame make him an intriguing prospect moving forward. The 6’ 185 lb Sophomore earned crucial Varsity time last season and showed the skills all weekend that earned him those reps. You’d like to see the agility improve but he is on track right now for his player profile, RHP/1B.

|
Easton Smith 3B / RHP / Spanish Fork, UT / 2028Rankings StateRank: 59 / POS: 4
Spanish Fork continues to produce talent year in and year out, and Easton is another one of those players in that line. His 5’11 180 lb frame possesses compact strength and repeatable actions throughout his game. He keeps the approach simple offensively with a flat strong swing through the middle. The FB gets up to 80 and shows signs of added velocity in the years to come. Expect steady improvement for Easton moving forward.
