LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - With the chaotic summer circuit portion of the baseball calendar in the state of California completed, our staff was able to get eyes on players through Prep Baseball California events, the tournament circuit, and several other opportunities. One of the busiest periods of the year allowed our staff to observe the continued improvement/development of players in the 2028 class. With all of that visibility provided to our staff for opportunities to evaluate players over the last couple of months, we present our updated Class of 2028 Player Rankings.
With the extensive exposure provided for our staff this summer to the 2028 class, we saw quite a bit of change across the rankings. From movement within the Top 10 players in the class, players moving into the Prep Baseball National Rankings and others making their Top 100 debuts (movement up the board or newcomers to the rankings) through their summer performances.
Beyond the Top 100, we have expand this class to a total of 150 players (up from 100 pre-summer). This entire class is now prepping for their sophomore year with their high school baseball season rapidly approaching.
The recruiting process for this class is now under one year away for this group with the August 1st, 2026 date on the calendar for these players. But, make no mistake that college programs are keeping tabs on the top players in this class to build out their recruiting boards to follow this fall into the spring and next summer.
Below you'll find the Top 10, along with notes on several Rankings Risers and Ranking Newcomers.

CLASS OF 2028 RANKINGS: RISERS
TOP-10 RISERS:
+ SS Ryan Sheffer - Oaks Christian - Previous: 8 Now: 7
Sheffer made the trip up to the Pacific Northwest in Sept. as the top ranked player in attendance for the initial Prep Baseball West Coast Super Sophomore games. With an immense focus on how he would compete against other top talent from around the Western region of the US, Sheffer did not disappoint with a strong workout day, flashing his well rounded tools throughout the game play portion and more than comfortably showing why he is amongst the Top 10 players in California. Backing that performance up with another strong showing in front of Associate Director SoCal Steven Hardesty during high school fall ball in Nov. and throughout his turn in the SoCal Scouts Association Fall League pushes Sheffer one more spot up our board. With a likely spot at the SS position for Oaks Christian in the spring and a potential top of the order lineup slot another strong spring showing in his Soph. season can put Sheffer in position to push for Top 5 position in the future.
+ RHP Kingston Monette - Sierra Canyon - Previous: 9 Now: 8
While Monette's fall has been a little more muted in terms of his appearances in front of our staff the reports coming back on him via coaches/scouts and video are all strong. With an athletic operation on the mound that has consistently been in the low 90's and the profile to be a front line arm for the Sierra Canyon program which has Mission League title hopes we see Monette make another push up the board one spot. Should his spring be as strong as he potential shows it might not be the last move up thisboard for Kingston.
+ C/RHP Brogan Witcher - Liberty - Previous :10 Now: 9
Witcher spent a good majority of his fall under the Friday night lights for Liberty High School's football program. But, when he did find his way on the baseball diamond on the weekends either with the SoCal Scouts Association Fall League or other opportunities the immense potential for Witcher was solidly on display. His focus pointed onto the football field obviously limited our opportunities to get eyes on the Bakersfield product, but his one move up the board is well warranted with potential for more as he continues learning how to tap into his impressive raw tools.
TOP-100 RISERS:
+ SS Tyce Johnson - Linfield Christian - Previous: 57 Now: 17
Johnson was strongly recommended as a prominent player for the Prep Baseball West Coast Super Sophomore Games to State Director Les Lukach. With immense tools, an intriguing frame and big league bloodlines there was a lot of buzz for Johnson once he arrived in Oregon. From the moment he started the workout to the completion of his final game at PK Park the Inland Empire product did nothing, but showcase a toolset, athletic profile and future upside that made him quickly considered one of the pre-eminent players in attendance. The buzz on the LH hitting INF has not stopped since he left Oregon and results in a 40 spot jump the board inside the Top 20 players in the state with the type of future potential that could push him even higher over the coming years.
+ SS Jacob Quintero - Ridgeview - Previous: 98 Now: 21
Quintero hails from the Bakersfield area and while his profile might have been slighlty more off the radar then his counterpart Witcher heading into the fall, what the RH hitting SS did over three days at the West Coast Super Sophomore event rockets him up the board. While more wiry than our other high rising SS from the event Quintero boasted some of the same impressive baseball tools with potentially even more polish to how he operates across the board. His invite was earned through a strong showing at the Bakersfield Summer ID for Hardesty, but within a short time he had NorCal Associate Director Hank LoForte (Former Cal State Fullerton INF) buzzing about his profile. Quintero hammered the baseball in BP and during the game play portion, made several impressive defensive plays during the workout/game play and showed off the upside in his profile with further strength/athleticism developments. His rise up the board is the biggest of any player in the 2028 class and well warranted not just for what he did during his time in Oregon, but also for how he has continued to perform across various platforms post the event that has him now amongst the Top 25 players in the state.
+ OF/C Kole (KJ) Henrich - Oaks Christian - Previous: 60 Now: 31
Henrich was hovering around the middle portion of the Top 100 heading into the fall based on a strong showing at a pair of ID events (Central California Preseason ID and OC Summer ID) and a brief look during high school fall ball in his FR. season. But, the strongly built versatile defender with intriguing athleticism out of Oaks Christian made the trip to Oregon to compete amongst the top Soph. players in the Western region at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games. While in Oregon he first opened the eyes of Vice President of Scouting Shooter Hunt with the impressive offensive operation he boasts hammering the ball north of 100 MPH during batting practice with an explosive swing. Once in the game play portion he continued to rocket the ball all over the field while also flashing his athletic ability in the OF making a nifty catch in RF. His showing at Oregon has carried into the rest of his fall performance on the high school fall circuit and other platforms where he has continued to hammer the ball with authority in front of Hardesty. He makes a strong 29 spot jump up the board and is poised for another jump with a strong Soph. season on the varsity level for Oaks Christian.
+ 3B/SS Orlando Oates - Aquinas - Previous: 44 Now: 33
Oates took over a starting spot for the Aquinas program during his Fr. year manning 3B while playing solid defense with the flashes of his high level offensive ability showing during the spring season. He has continued to improve on what was already an impressive profile that had him ranked in the Top 50 players in California. Now after a fall of strong performances and really impressive reports coming into State Director Les Lukach on the Inland Empire product he pushes another 11 spots up our board inside the Top 35 players in the state. He will likely make a move to SS when the uber talented Carter Hadnot graduates from the program, but until then one can expect Oates to continue his growth at the 3B spot while ticking upwards on his offensive profile as a key piece of the Aquinas lineup in 2026.
+ OF Walter Unruh - Kingsburg - Previous: 62 Now: 45
Unruh made a strong showing during the California State Games in July/August of 2025 which backed up all of the strong reports coming in from LoForte on this Central Valley product. While there he was competing against predominantly older competition, but once he got on the field with his peers in the 2028 class at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games he stood out for his physicality, raw tools, and strong feel for performing in game. Transferring over to Kingsburg for his Soph. year the RH hitter will get plenty of exposure with the talented Jensen Hirschkorn toeing the rubber there, which will provide extensive opportunities for Unruh to make another push up this board in the future now that he is amongst the Top 50 players in the state.
+ OF/LHP Kylen Gravely - Santa Margarita - Previous: 65 Now: 52
Gravely was a member of the 2024 Prep Baseball California Junior Future Games team, but entered the event slightly banged up and didn't get an opportunity to fully show his talents. He spent the majority of his Fr. season in the Trinity League playing on the lower levels for Santa Margarita, but his performance at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games was a showcase of what the LH hitting OF can be when fully healthy against high level competition. Showing a wiry athletic build that is starting to add strength, upward trending offensive tools, CF defensive profile and athletic ability throughout the three days up there pushes him another 13 spots up our board and just outside the Top 50 players in the state.
+ SS Dallas Tucker - Skyline - Previous: 78 Now: 55
Tucker came into the West Coast Super Sophomore Games with plenty of positive buzz from LoForte. He is compact and lean in build, but not lacking for athleticism and tools at present. His natural feel for the barrel was on display during batting practice where he sprayed line drives around the field and then carried into the game play portion with several high quality at bats. He showed strong defensive tools at present to stay up the middle long term. His strong present profile is enhanced when you consider his potential for further development to his physical frame that has him rising quickly up our board 23 spots with potential for more as he develops.
+ SS/RHP Alex Noble - Bishop Alemany - Previous: 67 Now: 56
Noble was outstanding at Alemany during his FR. season and was producing strong reports coming into Hardesty from coaches/players around the Mission League. The two-way talent came out to the Central California Summer ID and put on strong performance in front of a trio of Prep Baseball California evaluators in Lukach, Hardesty and San Diego based Vinnie Alfino. That showing combined with his stellar season at Alemany earned him an invite to the West Coast Super Sophomore event where he showed off not a strong offensive skillset and defensive profile, but his pitching performance was equally if not even more impressive in Oregon. Noble shows off real ability on each side of the game at present and can continue to develop over the coming years to be a potential next level player on either side of the game which pushes him up the board 11 spots.
+ OF/RHP Jason Taylor - Notre Dame - Previous: 107 Now: 58
Taylor spent his Fr. season at Notre Dame competing on the lower levels, but is primed for a big breakout in the Mission League this spring where he is competing for a prominent role on the varsity level as a RH hitter and RH pitcher with high level upside. His showing at the Central California Summer ID was sound, but it was his impressive performance at the West Coast Super Sophomore that really moved the needle. His batting practice caught the attention of all in attendance including Shooter Hunt and he carried that into the game play portion with a string of high level at bats. But, when his clean, athletic and highly talented operation toed the rubber for two innings of work he pushed his profile up another level. Reaching the 86-87 MPH range with ease on a his FB while throwing strikes with his three pitch mix and plenty more to come as he matures. Taylor has two way ability for the high school level and next level that will keep eyes on him going forward over the coming years and his 49 spot jump up our board has the potential for more in the future.
+ RHP/1B Colton Dunwoody - Royal - Previous: 70 Now: 61
Dunwoody is another younger brother of a former Team California Futue Game member in Dustin Dunwoody (Arizona Commit) who is now making his own presence felt. With a projectable frame, long arms, high hips and broad shoulders you can dream on what Dunwoody will turn into as he continues adding strength to his frame. At present he comfortably reaches the mid-80's with his FB while showing feel for his offspeed offerings. Plus, you mix in a RH swing with legitimate thump to the pull side you can see the athletic ability he possesses as a two-way player. But, his profile right now appears slightly more intriguing on the mound and he showed that with a stellar outing against high level competition at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games. With a stacked rotation at Royal High in the spring innings for Dunwoody may be hard to come by at present, but his nine spot move up this board is well warranted. When his time comes to showcase on the varsity level his ability you can beat he be well prepared and the talent to rise even higher up this board in the future.
+ LHP CJ Gamradt - Harvard Westlake - Previous: 89 Now: 62
The pitching factory and powerhouse program of Harvard Westlake has yet another talented piece to showcase. Gamradt tossed a solid bullpen session at the Central California Summer ID in front of Lukach, Hardesty and Alfino before going onto finish the summer in a strong fashion to make his debut inside the Top 100. When he arrived at PK Park to throw in the West Coast Super Sophomore Games the velocity and overall arsenal for Gamradt had made intriguing forward strides. He reached the upper 80's with his FB while showing off a pair of quality offspeed offerings. He punched out multiple hitters over each inning of the three he threw, but there is still polish to his profile that can help him push even higher up the board. For now the southpaw out of the Mission League sees himself up 27 spots into the Top 75 players in the state.
+ C/INF Griffin Arnold - Santa Barbara - Previous: 95 Now: 64
Arnold is another player who saw his playing time come on the lower levels of a program during his Fr. season which kept him slighlty off our radar. A strong showing at the Central California Summer ID for the versatile defender and smooth LH hitter put him inside the Top 100 based on his toolset. Then he made the trip up to Oregon to participate in the West Coast Super Sophomore Games around his football schedule (plays QB for Santa Barbara High School) where he showed off that silky smooth swing for Shooter Hunt drawing rave reviews. His showing during the game play portion against high level competition backed up the intrigue of his offensive workout while flashing his ability to be a strong defender. Arnold moves 29 sots up the board and as he continues to mature physically while facing more high level competition on the varsity level/travel circuit could move higher in the future.
+ 3B Dylan Lee - Westlake - Previous: 83 Now: 77
Lee impressed during a brief look for Hardesty at the SoCal Scouts Association Fall League just before our previous update that put him on the board at 83. He went on to continue to show his present ability and high upside profile over the following weeks of the league while bringing in strong reports to our staff for his performances across other areas of the fall circuit. With big league bloodlines, a physical present frame, power potential in his bat and a corner defensive profile he will compete for a prominent spot on the varsity level for Westlake. Should he put up a stellar spring showing to continue his development trend we could see another rise for Lee in the future to push him inside the Top 75 players or higher while he sits just outside it a present.
+ OF Zach Uhler - Granite Bay - Previous: 119 Now: 85
Uhler made the trip to Oregon for the West Coast Super Sophomore on the back of an invite from NorCal Associate Director Hank LoForte who spoke highly of his ability prior to the event evidenced by his 119 ranking slot pre-event. Once there the compact framed, but strong RH hitting OF made quick work of impressing the staff as a whole with his impact profile RH swing that produced exit velocities north of 100 MPH with carry to the midde/pull side of the field. His offensive profile was not only on display during the BP portion of the event, but also during the game play portion of the event as he hammered several balls with authority. With his offensive profile carrying the profile at present Uhler makes a strong push up the board 35 spots at present, but with future development to his defensive/athletic profile don't be surprised if we see another rise in his future.
+ OF/LHP Bryce Kurihara - Previous: 124 Now: 87
The switch hitting, two-way product out of Northern California made quite the impression during his time at the West Coast Super Sophomore event. He caught the eye of Shooter Hunt with his batting practice session where he produced hard contact from each side of the plate including EVs north of 95 MPH while showing the bat speed and approach to handle high level pitching at present. Kurihara's batting practice carried into the game play portion with hard contact from both sides of the plate while playing strong defensive all over the OF with a CF future potential as he continues to get more athletic in the future. For good measure he toed the rubber for a solid two innings of work from the LH side showing a strike thrower profile with solid stuff at present. Bryce carried that performance into the rest of his fall with strong reports from his performances across a variety of platforms pushing 38 spots up the board into the Top 100 players in the state now.
+ OF/RHP Mason Ritchey - Garces Memorial - Previous: 118 Now: 100
Ritchey was a solid performer at the Bakersfield Summer ID with a well-rounded profile of baseball tools that were solid across the board. The showing there helped propel him to a West Coast Super Sophomore Games invite and while he came in flying a bit under the radar compared to some other players in attendance Ritchey made his presence felt. While his profile is a collection of strong tools with a feel for getting to all of them in game settings especially on the offensive side of the game where he put up a strong BP sessions again, but even more so with his multiple hits over the three games. Ritchey looks comfortable in the box against all types of pitching and shows defensive versatility across the OF, but fits best in a corner at present. His strong fall showing for our staff and over other opportunities to get reports on his abilities pushes him inside the Top 100 players heading into his Soph. season at Garces Memorial.
Names to Know: Risers Outside the Top 100
+ INF Auron Blackledge - Calabasas - Previous: 130 Now: 127
Blackledge makes a small bump up this board on the back of a solid showing at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games and his fall circuit. The RH hitter shows a solid offenisve profile with a long term INF defensive profile that at present looks suited for the 2B/3B. He took sound at bats over the three days in Oregon with more to come as he continues filling out his athletic frame. There profile for the Blackledge is more future potential than present, but there is a lot to like about his future ability across the board and will be a name to keep eyes on our of the North Los Angeles region of Southern California.
+ RHP Lucah Alvarado - St. Bonaventure - Previous: 145 Now: 136
Alvarado made a pair of solid bullpen showings at the Central California Preseason ID and Central California Summer ID with a strike throwing profile that boasted a quality FB/CHG mix with an emerging breaking ball. The 6'ish frame for Alvarado has started to add some strength to it especially in his lower half with longer arms and broad shoulders he has room to keep filling in the upper body. He made the trip to the West Coast Super Sophomore Games to compete against high level competition and his three inning performance was filled with strikes and soft contact at Bushnell University. From there Alvarado came back to Ventura County to start to pitch varsity level innings for St. Bonaventure during the fall circuit and has seen his FB velocity tick up into the 83 MPH range with more readily in his tank in the future. He moves 10 spots up the board and as he keeps developing is a name to keep eyes on for the 2028 class.
CLASS OF 2028 RANKINGS: NEWCOMERS
Top-100 Newcomers:
+ OF Colton Fitzgibbon - San Ramon Valley - Now: 16
Tooled up and talented is the description given for Fitzgibbon by NorCal Associate Director Hank LoForte and several others speaking on the NorCal two sport standout. Fitzgibbon is a standout football player who boasts an offer to the University of Oregon football program. His athleticism translates to the baseball field as a 6.2 runner who can defend in CF at an elite level with emerging power in his bat that could profile as a long term power/speed offensive player who plate elite defense at a premium spot. Like any elite two sport athlete there will always be questions about the future direction his athletic career will take him whether two sports or one sport only, but should that future include baseball Fitzgibbon has shown the profile to warrant a Top 20 ranking at present.
+ SS Austin Maiden - Chaminade College Prep - Now: 32
While our staff has not had the chance to see Maiden in person quite yet all of the information being gathered on the talented Mission League product warrants his ranking inside the Top 35. Playing for the Wow Factor National squad Maiden has consistently showed off a high level offensive profile that will fit at the top of the lineup while starting to flash emering power in his bat evidenced with pull side HRs throughout the fall circuit. Should he stick at SS long term his profile will only continue to rise, but no matter what the upside to his ability at the plate will keep him amongst the top players in this class throughout his high school career.
+ C/RHP Christian De La O - Centennial - Now: 68
De La O debut on our board inside the Top 75 on the back of a dynamic performance at the Inland Empire Fall ID where his two-way profile opened the eyes of Lukach and Alfino in attendance. An athletically built 6'1 170.2 lbs. RH hitter he showed off bat speed, impact and natural feel for finding the barrel during batting practice while flashing intriguing arm strength behind the dish with online accuracy and low 1.9 range pop times. As good as what De La O did as a position player his bullpen session was equally impressive with a 86-87 MPH FB which peaked at 88 MPH with solid life through the zone and an emerging low 70's CB. The workout session alone warrants his addition on the rankings board and with a strong showing for the Centennial program during his Soph. season in the spring we may see a big rise up this board for the Inland Empire product.
+ 3B/RHP Grayson Thomas - Mira Costa - Now: 71
Hailing from the talented Mira Costa program in the SoCal area which has produced several D1 products in the recent years there is a new name to know in the program in Grayson Thomas. Making the trip up to PK Park at University of Oregon Thomas put together a strong overall showing for the entirety of the weekend. His batting practice and defensive workout was a solid showing of a profile that has present ability, but future upside as he continues developing his baseball tools, athleticism and strength. Plus, for good measure he shows off a solid pitching profile with quality present stuff that has room to develop increased life/velocity as he matures. A well rounded player with plenty to like about him on each side of the game Thomas joins our board in the number 71 spot with plenty of upside for a rise up this board in the future.
+ OF Ryan Nestor - Harvard Westlake - Now: 82
Hailing from the home of a 2x Team California Future Gamer in Ira Rootman the RH hitting athletic OF drew comps to the "Red Panther" from both Lukach and Hardesty during his turn at the OC Fall ID. A dynamic athlete he ran a 6.6 range 60 while showing CF defensive potential with a solid accurate arm in the 81 MPH range who did get time on varsity as a Fr. for the Wolverines and appears to be in competition for an increased role as a Soph.. His batting practice session was sound with present max EVs north of 90 MPH and a line drive based swing to the middle of the field. Nestor comes onto the board in the 82 spot, but is poised for a rise with his future development while playing for Harvard Westlake and travel ball circuit.
+ INF/RHP Aiden Mittledorf - Chaminade College Prep - Now: 84
Mittledorf is another emerging talent out of Chaminade who has shown an interesting overall toolset. His switch hitting profile is geared towards line to line hard contact with a hit over power profile, but has performed at a high level all fall. With a versatile INF defensive profile that could stick up the middle at 2B long term, but shows some potential for SS there is plenty to like on this side of the game for him. He toed the rubber during his Fr. season at Chaminade with a sound profile on the mound. There is two way potential to follow for him as he continues to mature/develop, but at present suits best a position player profile with his switch hitting upside carrying the peak of his profile at present. Keep eyes on him as he debuts at 83 with upside to move up the board in the future.
+ OF/LHP Leyton Denove - Oaks Christian - Now: 88
Denove is another piece of what is shaping up to be an outstanding '28 class at Oaks Christian as now the fifth ranked member of this program ranked in our Top 100. An athletic LH hitter who shown a strong foundation offensively both in his OC Fall ID batting practice session and then during a live look for Hardesty in the high school fall circuit. As well, he looks the part of a CF/RF defender who has imapct potential with his strong foot speed, high level instincts and routes which showed up during the live look as he manned CF for the Lions. He adds the athletic ability of being a strike throwing LH pitcher with a sound arsenal, but profiles at best presently on the position player side. Denove appears on our board in the 87 spot for his debut.
+ SS Jack Phillips - Corona Del Mar - Now: 95
Phillips earned a starting role on the varsity level for Corona Del Mar handling the 2B position in the program, but his showing defensively at the OC Fall ID flashed SS potential defensive tools as he continues to mature. His profile was well-regarded by Lukach in advance of his appearance there, but the RH hitter performed at a solid level across the board warranting his debut inside the Top 100. Playing in Orange County against strong competition over the coming years will give Phillips plenty of opportunities to compete for a move up our board in the future.
+ RHP/1B Trenton Lira - El Diamante - Now: 99
Lira is a favorite of NorCal Associate Director Hank LoForte for his physicality as a RH hitter, but even more so for the ease of operation he shows on the mound with an enticing upside there. Lira showed well at a pair of fall events for our staff first with a stellar showing at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games, then again at the Visalia Wolfpack Scout Day and will be in the mix for a prominent role at El Diamante in the spring season. Lira has peaked in the mid 80's with his FB, but get there with relative ease which boasts the type of arm potential to throw into the 90's or higher in the future. Plus, add in a powerful RH hitting profile with upper 90's EVs at present with more to come as he continues maturing. Lira makes his debut inside the Top 100.
5 Names to Know Outside the Top-100 Newcomers:
+ RHP/INF Mark Douglas - Cardinal Newman - Now: 108
Douglas is another favorite of NorCal Associate Director Hank LoForte for not only his RH hitting offensive profile which is solid across the board, but as much if not even more so for the projection in his RH pitching profile. Standing 6'2 170 lbs. at present he has a prototype pitchers frame with a clean delivery that peaks in the mid 80's with his FB at present while spinning a solid low 70's SLD, feel for a low 70's CHG and the makings of a potential CB. Douglas threw strikes with all four pitches during his turn at the West Coast Super Sophomore Games backing up a solid Bay Area Summer ID performance. Poised to compete for a role with the Cardinal Newman varsity program in spring of 2026 he sits currently just outside the Top 100 with plenty of upside to move into the Top 100 in the future with continued development.
+ INF Jagr Scott - San Marcos - Now: 125
Scott was a late addition to the 2024 Prep Baseball California Junior Future Games squad with his bat to ball RH hitting profile and defensive versatility earning him spot on that squad. Over the next year plus of time the San Diego based product has gone to work on his frame, athletic ability and all around baseball tools. That work has resulted in an improved overall profile across the board that opened the eyes of Lukach, Hardesty and Alfino with an oustanding performance at the OC Fall ID and earns him his debut on the rankings board at 125.
+ INF/RHP Cain Ebrahim - Foothill Tech - Now: 128
Ebrahim first popped on the radar during the spring of 2025 when he earned a varsity role for the Foothill Tech program as a Fr. manning an INF position while throwing a solid amount of innings. He was a wiry lean athlete who showed well during a pair of live looks for Associate Director SoCal Steven Hardesty, but there was polish still needed before making his way onto the rankings board. Checking back in during the fall high school circuit Hardesty got to see an improved frame that has added strength cleaning up some of the issues he had with his operation offensively/defensively during the spring time. His athletic delivery on the mound showed a FB touching the 80 MPH range with feel to throw it for strikes with more in the tank in the future. But, it was his offensive showing during that live look, defensive versatility on the INF dirt with clean actions and improved body that put him on the board at 127. He will debut on the Prep Baseball California event platform in 2026 with the Los Angeles Preseason ID.
+ C Parker Medlin - Paraclete - Now: 137
Medlin came out to the Central California Preseason ID in January of 2025 to make his presence known to our staff. A wiry built backstop at the time he played on the lower levels for the Paraclete program in his Fr. season, but went to work on his body and tools during that time. Medlin returned to the Prep Baseball California event stage with a strong showing at the High Desert Uncommitted Game taking a strong batting practice, flashing improved arm strength/accuracy, strong receiving tools that performed in the workout and in the game play portion of the day. A few weeks later Hardesty had the chance to see him in a live look during the high school fall circuit where he collected a knock against varsity level pitching and showed impressively well behind the dish for Paraclete. He debuts at 136 with room to keep improving his overall profile that could bring a rise up the board in the future.
+ OF/LHP Ethan Sharaky - Woodcreek - Now: 155
Sharaky was a favorite of LoForte during his showing at the Sacramento Fall ID event where his two-way profile was solid across the board. With a sound LH swing showing hand speed and torque he produced EVs north of 90 MPH while averaging 86 MPH with his approach/feel for the barrel. He backed up that offensive performance with an interesting strike throwing profile from the LH side with quality present stuff that has room to tick up as he fills out his 5'11 143 lbs frame. With a solid foundation of ability and room to project future development on his baseball tools/physical frame we see Sharaky debut in the 154 spot.
